Stupid question but is it healthy in the long run for guys like Bale to be losing weight and bulking up so quickly? Going from 120 lbs to 230 = pretty big, similar to Tobey Maguire for Spiderman(went slim as hell for Secretariat and then buffed back up again for Spiderman 2)

It can't be that damanging, after all, they're still young. And the weight is in muscle, and not fat.

 

Of course, it all depends on HOW they gained the weight as well.

Actually rebulking up will probably be quite easy because of muscle memory.

The suit made him look big, built and imposing...nothing like Keaton

In the comics, Batman is supposed be about 6'2" and around 210.

 

Bale looks fine IMO.

I told you all that this film was in very good hands with Christopher Nolan. This is shaping up to possibly be the best superhero film yet. I think Chiristian Bale has the perfect look for the characters that he is undertaking.

 

I can't wait.
