Guest hunger4unger Report post Posted May 12, 2004 You have, how? Let's see we had Cole which wasnt on US soil and Oklahoma which was but wasnt by a terrorist. Granted it was an act of terrorism but it wasn't by a foreign national.
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted May 12, 2004 All this Clinton vs Bush stuff...gotta remember that no terrorist attacks took place on American soil on Clinton's watch. Well, if you ignore the 1993 WTC bombing. The OKC bombing. The bombing of the Cole (US warships are US territory by int'l law) The bombing of US embassies (ditto) Outside of THOSE, yup, we didn't have ANY here in America. Why, the election of Bush started ALL of this. Also pretty strange that there were calls for impeachment over Clinton gettng a BJ and none over Bush sending 2,000 troops to their deaths for no justified reason. Clinton lied under oath to a grand jury. Bush didn't. But I didn't expect you to grasp the difference. Oh, and hunger --- terrorists don't have to be foreign nationals. And you STILL can't explain embassy bombings, the Cole (again, US warships are, by law, US territory, whether they are), and the WTC in 1993. -=Mike
KingPK 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2004 (edited) All this Clinton vs Bush stuff...gotta remember that no terrorist attacks took place on American soil on Clinton's watch. Emphasis mine. You didn't say "no attacks from Arab fundamentalists", you said no terrorist attacks PERIOD, which is complete idiocy. And what, pray tell, would you call someone who carries out a terrorist act? A Carryout-ist? EDIT: I beat Mike to something *celebrates* Edited May 12, 2004 by Kingpk
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2004 Why, the election of Bush started ALL of this. Mike, you're so st00pid. It was the Bush tax cuts that started it all -- how else could McVeigh afford all that fertilizer?...
KingPK 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2004 I think it was when he choked on that pretzel. It emboldened the terrorists since they knew if Bush got too uppity, they would just throw a bowl of Rold Golds at him and he would run like the wind.

I bet you an Al Qaeda member was one of the minorites that Jeb Bush prevented from voting in Florida. Man, they take their voting rights SERIOUSLY. -=Mike
Guest thebigjig Report post Posted May 12, 2004 Of course, how convienant that we forget the terrorist attacks that were thwarted by the Clinton administration And of course Bush hasn't lied under oath... unlike Clinton, he hasn't been put under it yet He removes missiles from Turkey we intended to move ANYWAY. Wow, that is some serious diplomacy. Color me shocked that you would downplay one of the key moments in cold war history, although something tells me that if it had been Reagan who had effectively saved the worlds ass, you would be sucking his cock about it right now. Styles 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2004 Can we stop blaming Bush or Clinton? Let's start blaming THE TERRORISTS and those that harbor them. We've learned from our mistakes and that's the only even slightly positive thing to come out of the terrorists attacks, it opened our eyes to the ugly side of the world. Let's work towards stopping future attacks, not wasting time with the partisan blame game which is irrelevant anyway.
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted May 12, 2004 Of course, how convienant that we forget the terrorist attacks that were thwarted by the Clinton administration Name one. Go ahead. And of course Bush hasn't lied under oath... unlike Clinton, he hasn't been put under it yet Bush hasn't sexually harassed people, either. He removes missiles from Turkey we intended to move ANYWAY. Wow, that is some serious diplomacy. Color me shocked that you would downplay one of the key moments in cold war history, although something tells me that if it had been Reagan who had effectively saved the worlds ass, you would be sucking his cock about it right now. The Crisis was caused by blunders on our part anyway. JFK made so many stumbles and finally made the right move at the end. Congrats to him. And, Reagan DID save the world's ass. -=Mike

There are still plenty of terrorists in the world, and plenty of ignorant fuckheads are still harboring and helping them. In other words, we still have a lot of people to kill.
