PS2 DROPS!!!!

Recommended Posts

The PS2 is now 149.99. Both versions of the system are 149.99, the one in the blue box and the one that comes with ATV offroad 2 and the internet adaptor.

And all those masses of people who were on the fence at this point about the PS2 are rejoicing, I'd imagine....

Well, not really. Just those people whose poorly-made original PS2s just conked out.

Well, it's about time.

Still a little bit too pricey for my blood, but they're onto something.

I would do it... but most places are reporting a Pre-Xmas release date for the PS3 ...so I'll wait and shell out the hard dough for it.

THIS year? I'd call total bullshit on those rumors. Sony would have probably unveiled the system at E3 this year if that was true. Besides, I'm pretty sure they would release PS3 in Japan before the US (that's how almost all console launches work.)

Maybe you're hearing about the PSP, Sony's new handheld. But they have announced that the PSP is held off until 2005, so the rumors are still bunk.

Well you can get the PS2 preowned for 119.99.

I would pick it up if it were 99.99.

If they dropped the price to 99.99, Sony would make a KILLING. Hands down, they would totally take over the console market.

Well, I think it's time to pick up a new one.

I've had my current one for over 2 1/2 years.

I really don't like the playstation, I never have, but since I've seen the latest MGS: Snake Eater trailers, I may have to get one.
