His first at bat on this monumental occasion is a Sac Fly to right. Boston leads 2-0 with help from The Baby Bull on his Big Birthday.

In his second at bat of this festive day Manny Ramirez JOLTS~ a ball to Right-Center Field for an RBI Double. What a happy, happy birthday for the great power hitting Left Fielder.

Attorney General John Ashcroft is at Fenway Park to celebrate along with the MILLIONS of Red Sox Nation on this, the 32nd Birthday of Manny Ramirez.

In the top of the 5th inning Manny Ramirez makes a SPECTACULAR CATCH~ at the monster to rob Olerud of a hit and preserve Curt Schilling's perfect game. All of which is happening on this day of days; Manny Ramirez's 32nd birthday.

As Manny Ramirez flies out in the bottom of the 5th it has come to our attention that Manny may have turned 32 yesterday. Manny's birthday is a large enough venue though where it can go the full weekend. So lets continue to celebrate.

After looking it up he was indeed born in 1972 on this day. Celebrate bitches...celebrate

He doesn't want to be a Yankee anymore. He wants to play in Boston with David Ortiz. They are friends.

Manny walks in the 7th inning, which will most likely be his final At Bat. To celebrate this glorious date I will go take a nap.

I read on the MLB website that Schilling had a perfect game broken up in the sixth.

Also, on one of the Mariners' single A teams, there was a player named "Carlos Arroyo." I went to the Utah Jazz's website to double-check...but it's actually two different people. I've heard of baseball and football, but not baseball and basketball.

Manny strikes out in the bottom of the 9th. This game refuses to end and let me nap. Manny still having a solid day though on this, his 32nd birthday.

Stay out of my thread you insult to a funny cartoon character. This is a joyous event, there's no room for you here.

This thread was going to be a classic. Then Cartman posted and now look at what's happened!

Danny Ainge played both baseball and basketball.

Yeah I know. I meant at the same time.

What if Ainge had stuck with baseball?

1984-86 -- Wins two World Series championships in three years as a backup utility player with the Boston Red Sox.

1995 -- Works as a analyst on ESPN's Baseball Tonight.

1997 -- Hired as manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The most notable event of Ainge's managing career happens when a disgruntled Carl Everett tosses a towel in his face after Ainge brought in a pinch-hitter for Everett.

2003 -- Hired as GM of the Boston Red Sox. Proceeds to trade away every decent player on the roster except for Pedro Martinez.

He's a better hitter than all 3 of those players at this moment.

Sammy Sosa, at least until he lets out another sneeze, is a better power hitter.

A-Rod isn't outhitting anyone right now.

Manny's a better power hitter than Pujols, but not average.

I'd honestly take Vlad over Manny.

I don't just mean Power Hitter. I mean overall hitter.

Out of those listed above..

1. Albert Pujols

2. Manny Ramirez

3. Vladimir Guerrero

4. Alex Rodriguez

Ramirez is still better than Pujols right now. Although Pujols will probably lap him next year or in 06. I've never seen Pujols take an inside fastball and hit it out of the park to RF. Manny did so Friday.
