Unfortunately after my band tour to South Africa, I will be staying there for approx a year or so doing Christian Aid Construction/Engineering work and teaching music and drums to underpriviliged kids. Anyway this is my last couple of days in the UK and with frequent internet access, so this is pretty much the end...for now at least Adios guys & girls, you've been interesting, thumbs up to 98% of you. In an effort to not let this thread stray from its original intention, I will say that I too once planned on waiting a year before university to go on such a trip like yours, but my parents wouldn't have it. Too worried they were, and they were probably hoping it was something I'd get over, like one of those "phases" they keep hearing so much about. C'est la vie. If you're going to try and be the wavering voice of reason on a messageboard you obviously need to get laid or start a stamp collection. Both of those options are so easy anyways, except in your case where starting a stamp collection would please all involved in it. This is the real life equivilant of walking up to somebody and saying "Smoking kills, and alcohol doesn't help the body much either.". People know these things, yet some find it fun to do which is why they punch you in the nose for pestering them. Its also been well documented that I'm lazy and talking is easier than typing. Don't you worry your little head though skippy.
