So them winning four straight prior to this, nine of their last 10 and nine of their last 10 series, not to mention having a three and a half game lead over the Red Sox, isn't good enough for you? I know some say I'm as bad with the Cubs, but if they were in the Yanks' position from me, you'd be hearing nothing but good things from me. I don't like to watch my billion dollar allstar offense get shut down by some rookie fresh out of AAA. I don't like my team to be blown out. I'm sorry, I wasn't aware of the fan who enjoyed seeing their team get their asses handed to them. It's not easy to take, but it happens to every team at least a few times throughout the season. I'd almost understand if that was all. But they were flailing around like idiots at the plate making quick outs, playing ludicrously bad defense, and letting those GOD DAMN balls drop AGAIN. He struck out 8.78 batters per 9 innings in the minors, with a 2.9 K:BB ratio. Excellent numbers. It was only a matter of time before he put it together for the big club. the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2004 Appears as if Randy Wolf will be going on the DL, if Billy Wagner is able to come off it. If that happens Ryan Madson is going to start in his place. If Wagner can't come off then Madson won't leave the pen, so they'll probably have to go with Hancock or skip the spot in the rotation. I can't see them bringing up Gavin Floyd for a spot start yet.
