TheBigSwigg Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 After watching RAW last night, I think that the Jericho/Christian feud is done. Much like HHH/HBK, I think the feuds gone a bit too long. (By a bit too long, I mean it's dead and bloated) We've seen both Christian and Trish steal a highlight reel, and Jericho come out both times and get beaten up. Will Tomko be next to steal Jericho's segment? Is that what they're waiting to do to finish this off?

It needs to end more for the fact that Tomko is a botch artist and is going to end up seriously hurting Jericho sooner than later. And it's hard to compare anything to HHH/HBK currently. The feud has been going strong for over 2 years and is on it's 5th final encounter type match.

That would be a good way to finally blow off the feud. If Jericho was smart, he would make the stipulation that he gets 15 minutes in bed with Trish if he wins. Then again, he might just get off on putting her in a Lion Tamer for 5 minutes.

But where exactly would he fit in? Would he just floundering around the Us Title or would it be a better chance at him seeing a feud for the Heavy weight title down the road?

After this bullshit with Bradshaw, I think Eddie desperately needs to face a REAL main eventer in order to regain a little bit of credibility as the champion. Two feuds in a row against midcarders for life is enough to turn him into the US Champion part deux. In fact, a really hot feud with Angle is about the only thing I can think of that would reenergize Eddie and Smackdown right now.
Jobber of the Week Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Am I the only person who sees this Christian shit going nowhere? Seems to me that it's only a matter of time before this trio breaks up, either because Trish and Tomko see Christian as the weakest link, or Christian goes all egotistical and tells them to get lost. Christian doesn't need a mouthpiece and the extra baggage, Tomko won't get any heat off Christian because he's bigger and fans automatically expect it to be the other way around. Edge is getting booed in Montreal and no reaction anywhere else. I still believe it's time for an E&C reunion. Trish can go back to trying to get big generic slugs over again, which is definitely a step down for her, but she completely burned out her welcome in the ring anyway.
