Sorry, I'm bored and this popped into my mind...any of you guys have one or some? Where at on your body? did it hurt or no?

 

I have two...the Decepticon symbol on my right arm (upper, on the side) and my daughters' name scrolling vertically down the left arm (also upper, on the side) in funky lettering...

 

both hurt, the pain wasn't horrible, but it was rather annoying...most people say the outline hurts worse than the coloring but man my coloring freaking hurt ten times more than the outlining...my skin is lighter (i'm fairly light skinned) but the artists had tough times with the coloring for both tattoos...my decepticon symbol took 3 times to color, purple is hard to get right on my skin complexion and all 3 times were fucking painful...

I've got the Calvin from the 1st panel on my left shoulder blade.

 

Hurt at first (more of an annoying pain), but it numbed up after a little bit.

I have a GL symbol on my right shoulder muscle. It felt pretty good to get actually.

 

I plan on getting something regarding my daughter on my other arm or below the GL tat if I decide to get a Cobra one on my other arm.

I've been thinking about tattoos for a while, since age 16 or 17 at the least, but I haven't gone through with anything yet, thankfully. I just want to make sure I don't get something I'll regret.

I have two. One on my left upper arm/shoulder, which is a wolf's head above a skeletal hand, dripping blood. The one on my right upper arm/shoulder is a yin/yang symbol, with the yin submerged and the yang in flames. I got the first when I was 19, and the second when I was 20, so they probably need to be touched up.

I'm gonna get a barcode on my upper right arm that's been encoded with my vital information...height, weight, birthdate, country of origin, etc. Underneath it, where the numbers would normally be, it's going to say "HUMAN".

I used to consider logos from cartoons I watched as a child, but that's becoming increasingly more popular, with several in this very thread, so I'm leaning against it. It could wind up looking stupid down the road as well. I'm picturing my father with a Howdy Doody tat.

 

I have a hard time deciding on something because my ideas usually run in themes, not individual pieces. So it's a big committment before I even start. My ideas could fill a book, so here's just my latest one: a big picture of Jesus on my back, in blacklight ink.

This is pretty much what I got, inbetween my shoulder blades except its blue and the middle isn't really filled in. For those who don't know its a Modfied Ankh. The Ankh is egyptian for eternal life, I later found out after figureing out I wanted that design on me that's actually used as a symbol for the white wolf vampire games, but I don't give a shit if some guy just took the basic ankh symbol and made a few changes to it. Its still the same meaning and the same thing.

I've thought about the barcode thing also, to be placed on the top of one of my hands, or the inside of the wrist. I have no idea what I'd have it encoded with though, if I were to do so.

 

For some reason I think a horse from My Little Pony, beheaded and laying in a pool of its own blood and guts would suit IDRM.

I only know or have seen one other person with cartoon shit on them and that was a mural of Goku vs. Vegeta on his back...other than that I've never seen anyone else with cartoon tatts...i'm sure there are plenty, but i haven't seen any in my city yet...plus i get funny reactions when people realize i have transformers tattoed on my body so that tells me THEY haven't seen it too often either...

I've got Free Thinkers Are Dangerous on my bank in sanskrit-like font with two red stars at each end. I'm saving up to get a blended version of the Cuban and American flags with Cuban-American below it on my left bicep, a Green Bay Packer logo on the other, and some sort of design connecting all three and extending out, twisting over my arm and going under to my wrists.

I'm getting "JOSEPH" on the inside of my right arm and "SYLVIA" on the inside of my left (grandfather's name). I also want a barcode on the back of my neck that would read "FREEDOM OR FIRE" and maybe my birthdate under it, and a symbol me and my girlfriend came up with that has a phoenix in front of an Iron Cross that I'd get on my right arm somewhere. I'm also getting the Misfits fiend logo (the skull) on my left arm with "138" under it.

I have something like that. It's a Barcode on my Left upper arm with the date of my Mom's Birth and the Date of her Death for the serial numbers under the bars. It's still fairly new, got it a few months ago.

The characters on the left and right are basically a buddhist blessing ie: may god be with you, amen or something along those lines. don't remember the exact translation at this moment.

 

The text at the top is the name of a temple, the name also escapes me right now. The only thing left is the translate the Thai text on the bottom before I commit it to my arm.

 

The monkey in the middle is a depiction of the character Sun Wukong. This story is also a loose basis for the Dragon Ball series, which I also happen to be a bit of a nerd for. win. Going on my upper right arm.
