Guest Cerebus Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 OMGSLUDGEREPORT~! WHITE HOUSE ANGER AFTER TIME MAGAZINE DETAILS LOCATION OF CHENEY'S 'SECRET BUNKER' Tue Jun 15 2004 11:11:34 ET Top White House officials expressed anger after TIME magazine detailed the location of Vice President Dick Cheney's secret bunker, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned. In new editions, TIME revealed "Site R," an underground bunker on the Maryland-Pennsylvania border where the Vice President spent much of his time in 2001. TIME wrote: "Deep under Raven Rock Mountain, Site R is a secret world of five buildings, each three stories tall, computer filled caverns and a subterranean water reservoir. It is just 7 miles from Camp David." Raven Rock Mountain is easily found using basic geographical maps. One White House officials fumed Monday night: "TIME magazine would have revealed secret the location of Anne Frank, if they knew it." Developing...
Guest DubWiser Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 One White House officials fumed Monday night: "TIME magazine would have revealed secret the location of Anne Frank, if they knew it." Odd the structure of that sentence(s) is.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 Wow, that Anne Frank quote is funny. Of course, reporters would have surrounded Frank asking her questions, thus not letting the Nazis get to her. Cheney's hideout sounds kinda cool...
Guest BDC Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 Sounds like a fine hideout for a VP or Pres to me, but I have to wonder: what is there to gain out of compromising the hideaway of a government official? Seems incredibly irresponsible.
Highland Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 Why does he even need a bunker at this time? Is it to add some aura of mystique around him, to make him elusive and thus it's really profound when we see him in public? Please.
justsoyouknow Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 Clearly you never had a secret clubhouse. You get pissed when people discover the location of it. And man, his secret clubhouse sounds badass. I wonder if it has a tire swing.

I wonder if it has a tire swing. It's probably motorized and has a defibber just in case the fun is just 'too much' for him.

Man, if they dared to reveal that his wife ever had a position with the gov't, there'd be hell to pay. Heck, did you know that a Democrat operative once told me that the President's DAD once worked for the CIA? Leaking bastards... -=Mike
Guest Quik Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 I wonder how pale the fat bastard is nowadays. I don't see why the bother hiding him. If someone knocks off Bush, Cheney's gonna hear the news, yell "I'm president?!?!?" like he just won Britney Spears tickets, grab his left shoulder and drop to the floor convulsing. Then Karl Rove will be our new president.
Guest INXS Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 You know, he shouldn't really NEED a bunker...

Vyce Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Sounds like a fine hideout for a VP or Pres to me, but I have to wonder: what is there to gain out of compromising the hideaway of a government official? Seems incredibly irresponsible. Agreed. I doubt that there'll be any outcry against this, seeing as this IS the Bush Administration, but really, if this is a secure location that could be used for generations of presidents & vice-presidents to come, it's irresponsible and just plain idiotic to disclose its whereabouts to the general public. Heck, did you know that a Democrat operative once told me that the President's DAD once worked for the CIA? Leaking bastards... What?! That's it - I'm going to call for an special independent prosecutor to investigate. RIGHT NOW.
Stephen Joseph Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 You know, he shouldn't really NEED a bunker... Umm, EVERY president and vice-president has had a safe haven like this in case shit hits the fan? Tell you what. When 100 years passes and not one political leader has been assassinated, I'll buy your line of logic. Until then...we SHOULD be able to protect those that serve us. Regardless of how you feel, he's still the Vice-President. Really, how irresponsible is it to say "Here's where we hide our people!" This, on top of the journalists in Iraq today, make me want to beat up hippies
Guest thebigjig Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 ya know... Hitler had a bunker too Forget the George W. Hitler nonsense... we all know the real Hitler is Dick...
Stephen Joseph Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 And the point of that post was? Did that really ADD anything or make a point?
Guest thebigjig Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 And the point of that post was? Did that really ADD anything or make a point? Oh okay... I get it... KKK can make smartass comments and asides that have nothing to do with furthering the debate... but ah forget it, go screw yourself

KKK can make smartass comments and asides that have nothing to do with furthering the debate... but ah forget it, go screw yourself The problem with your remarks was that members of your intellectual persuasion have said them before in this folder, only they a) weren't joking and b) were dead serious. So forgive us if we don't automatically pick up on your subtle sarcastic wit.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 ya know... Hitler had a bunker too Well, I liked this line, BUT Forget the George W. Hitler nonsense... we all know the real Hitler is Dick... brought the post down. Oh okay... I get it... KKK can make smartass comments and asides that have nothing to do with furthering the debate... but You lie!...
Guest thebigjig Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 The irony is that I was making fun of ultra liberals that compared Bush to Hitler but whatever If you can't distinguish me from Hunger then that's your problem I also find it funny that comments like this are made all of the time, some threads even going off track with half a page of just nonsense, but hey, thats fine I guess
Guest thebigjig Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Forget the George W. Hitler nonsense... we all know the real Hitler is Dick... brought the post down. Actually I think the name Dick Hitler is rather funny
kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Dude®, I'm defending you. I even laugh at alot of your sarcasm. Hell, I even pimped you in my "You Played Yourself" rap aimed at MikeSC. Just because you make fun of liberals doesn't mean I'll give it my seal of approval. And I have talked to hunger4unger, and you, sir, are no hunger4unger (I think that's a good thing, right?...)

kkktookmybabyaway Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Expand your TSM viewing beyond CE...
Guest thebigjig Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 Expand your TSM viewing beyond CE... I bow to you sir... I am truly not worthy
Art Sandusky Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 My guess is that since the place is probably damn near ringed with battlements and filled with loads of defense systems, it isn't too bad to reveal its location. Were someone to assassinate Cheney, chances are they'd get him when he's not in that underground fortress described above.
tommytomlin Posted June 17, 2004 Report Posted June 17, 2004 Well, I hope the Soviets don't hear about this, because otherwise we're screwed!
