Wow Mavs get Podkolzine for a future 1st.

Now Dallas doesn't need that other casually paced large man they've been talking about.

Still, it doesn't make me happy.

Did Mike Tirico finally snap and call the crowd "socially challenged" earlier or did I imagine that?

Nope...He called them Socially Challenged...

I believe his exact quote was "We're here live from the garden along with these, apprently socially challenged fans here"

I don't like the old Jazz jersey's with the rocky mountains. I thought the alternative away jersey with the dark blue background and word "Jazz" written across it was cool. They should have just added a new white home jersey in that style if they wanted to revamp.

It's not crap...it's just bland uncreative crap that'll be gone in 4 years...It's not like they have a real marketable star to push the jerseys with anyways.

I kinda like the simple look in a way...It's better then cartoonish jersey's the nba had once.

The purple Jazz uniforms with the white mountains on them were cool. They made perfect sense...you had the Western-style letters and numbers with images that represented Utah better than the New Orleans holdovers. And purple, sky blue, moss-green, and copper > shades of blue. The only real change I would've made would be to write out "Utah" in the same style that "Jazz" is written for the road jersey.

The Jazz are trying to make players not want to come to Salt Lake City even more!

Damn, I loved the picks of Humphries and Snyder, why did they trade Podkolzine?

It's funny because in the Salt Lake Tribune they were talking about how the Jazz may package their last two 1st round picks to trade up for Podkolzine.

I like the new shorts, but the jerseys needed more work. I'm glad to see the mountians tossed, but they should've kept the font style from the old jerseys.

Does anyone have pictures of the Bobcat jerseys?

That draft was horrid -- that is all.

Indeed, it was.

So horrid, I fell asleep early in the 2nd round.

Anyway, about the Jazz unis, I don't think they are that bad, really.

Unimaginative? Yeah, somewhat, but still looks decent, IMO.

Is the entire league gonna turn their uniforms blue or what?

He's crying and he was picked at 11. Imagine if he was top 5, they might have to go get the man

4 Kleenex!

Tremendous.

So far, I like what I've heard about David Harrison. Unfortunately, he probably won't play much, though.

We probably would have drafted Sasha Vujajic had the Lakers not, who probably would have played even less.

I wish Delonte West would have slipped down to us. I think Danny Ainge has a conspiracy against us.

I'd give my boys, the Celts a C. Got a few guys that I'd suspect to be future roleplayers. They should have picked Jameer Nelson instead of Al Jefferson, Nelson can make an impact right out of the starting gate. Nothing stands out at me as great, nothing stands out as being horrible. Just an average draft. Hopefully the Celtics will pull something off this off season.

"So how'd your team(s) fare?"

I'm liking what I'm hearing about the Pistons' late 2nd round pickup, Rickey Paulding. I think he could end up being a nice little sleeper backup 2-guard swingman for Detroit (that being one of their few weaknesses, I remember reading recently taht dumars was praying rip or tayshaun didn't go down, because they didn't have a viable backup option). Considering how late in the draft it was, I think we got a pretty decent guy.

Guest Smell the ratings!!!

The Bulls got lucky when Deng dropped to them. He can end the revolving door of crappy 3's like Kendell Gill, Scottie Pippen, Jerome Williams, Eddie Robinson, etc...

But they counteracted this luck by taking Ben Gordon. While he is a potentially good player, he also happens to play the same position as our other potentially good player. As opposed to say Andre Iguodala, who plays the same position as the guy who will be a potentially good player for someone else because we're about to get rid of his dumbass.

It seems so simple. On the other hand, now all our crappy 3's can become crappy 2's.

However the utter rape of the Suns that got us the 7 pick in the first place means the draft as a whole falls on the plus side.

But none of this matters, because I'm gonna drop the Bulls for the Bobcats. Is that allowed?

I wouldn't drop them yet. If Allen Iverson can some how make a small backcourt work, i'm pretty sure Ben Gordon can. He's like 2 inches taller than Iverson. Plus Crawford/Chandler are about to get traded for another PF so, hopefully that guy is Kurt Thomas. You know, so you can help the Knicks at the same time. Kill two birds with one stone.

Well the Spurs got some more european players and I'm not sure how they will turnout hopefully they can be used as trade bait to get some free agents who can score.

As much as I like Telfair and really want to see him play I think the Blazers kinda screwed up. They should've went with the best player available (Kirk Snyder IMO) but reached for Telfair. If they wanted him that bad they could've waited or traded up a little bit. I don't know what to think about the 2 Russians they got but I hear Monia is a steal at #23.

Im pretty excited the 76ers added Andre Iguodala. I like what he can contribute to AI. It's too bad Orlando didn't go with Okafor, cause I would love to root for him & Jameer on the same team.
