AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2004 On an off topic note, Coffey, your sig boggles my mind, because I could've sworn for the life of me that Michaels Superkicked janetty through the window when he turned. No...he sucker-kicked him, then threw him face first into the window. Sorry, not Coffey, but still, did people actually watch the incident, or are they going by someone elses word? Some one else's word, I think. I was surprised when I saw the HBK DVD and he THREW him through. I guess people just thought it would be cooler if he superkicked him through it, so it got distorted. Also, I agree that as long as a McMahon insists on being extremely hands-on with the creative process, not a whole lot is going to change. Part of the problem is likely that many good ideas are thrown away and filtered out. The writers feel unappreciated and then stop giving a damn. Sucky writers or not, that's easily to identify with. Kizzo 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2004 I'm not the biggest Heyman fan...but I will admit back when he was the head writer of Smackdown...the shows were very good....compared to what is going on now with Smackdown... After thinking about this...it wouldn't reallly solve anything....is it not Steph's job to oversee the creative team and draft the final script....and submit it to Vince McMahon for editing....so why the hell does a new position need to be created???? Is Steph tired of working directly with the writers now???

SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2004 Hopefully we don't get another bunch of failed sitcom writers. WWE is searching for reality tv writers? That might actually work. Reality shows are nothing but boring footage of people doing stuff magically made interesting because the producers find a storyline within the mundane and run with it by using creative editing. Raw needs Jericho, Christian, Flair, Richards, Venis and a few B level wrestlers to sit around for 30 minutes to do a clip show. Best Insider Rumor Ever.......Hell cancel the Experience then replace it with this show and give it a better time slot.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2004 The problem with Heyman is that none of his ideas have ever drew money. Ideas people have taken from him have drew money, but that's not the same thing according to the boss, especially since the boss was the guy doing the taking. Guest Goodear Report post Posted June 24, 2004 The real problem with Heyman is that he runs matches into the ground to the point where you have no idea what you saw a month later. Sure the Smackdown Six matches were good, but I'll be damned if I could tell any of them apart. Basically, this is what the company is doing now with Smackdown already just with worse workers. RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2004 I could. But then again, you'd have to be willing to accept Funaki and his magical story of coming back from a post-apocalyptic future to stop Mark Jindrak and JBL from destroying the world. Now, you'd think it was Mordecai with whom he'd have his concerns with - but that's a red herring, which, under the Rudo Administration, would be played up - and Funaki may or may not die in trying to get someone -probably Orlando Jordan- to take up the cause. haVoc 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2004 WWE creative team member Dominic Pagliaro quit the company earlier this week. The reason is that he thought WWE did not give him the appreciation he thought he deserved. He was expecting a raise and did not get one. He was one of Stephanie McMahon's favorites, but was not liked backstage at all among everybody else. Most thought him to be very disrespectful to everyone else backstage by acting above them. WWE has already started looking for a replacement. PWInsider.com/
