After watching this on TV, I'm surprised how easy he got off. He was pinned down on his belly with his hans behind his back and he got kicked and then thwacked upside the head by the thrid officer on the scene. This guy was wailing while these two cops had the suspect down and three other cops were coming onto the scene. And the Fox News affiliates were laughing through the entire thing.

Defenseless and restrained Black man (in one case mentally challenged juvenile) getting turned into a human piñata by a bunch of fake thugs disguised as police officers. Real courageous, beating a man who cant fight back. Maybe W. Bush will send them a letter of commendation.

 

Gotta love the convenient morality by the KKKonservatives here on the board. Maybe I misinterpreted the law, but where does it say that a cop has the right to just beat on a clearly restrained and non-threatening suspect. I thought the courts were supposed to hand out justice. You want to jump on this Black dude, well the cops were committing felony assault with a deadly weapon.

 

This is just another piece of evidence that perpetuates the idea that far too many cops are minority hating cowards who use the badge as a way to intimidate and assault the people they loathe without fear of retribution. Good gig. But its also the reason why O.J got off. You reap what you sow.

 

The only thing I am thankful for, is the saturation of the video age on our culture. The realization they were being taped was the only thing that prevented Brotha man from getting a flashlight lodged where his teeth used to be. Or maybe a plunger in his ass or 40 bullets in his brain would have been his fate. The line between criminal and justice is forever blurred.
