Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted June 28, 2004 That could have barely passed for Smackdown, much less a PPV. Crowd shit all over everything except the US title match, the Cruiserweight title match, the WWE title match, and Taker's entrance. And rightfully so... Taker vs. Dudleys wouldn't even be an acceptable Smackdown main event. I'd say Kenzo/Billy, Moredcai/Hardcore, Torrie/Sable, and Dudleys/Taker were all negative star affairs. Match of the night was Rey/Chavo, obviously. I felt bad because my dad paid $90 a ticket for me and him to sit 9 rows back and I couldn't even force myself to cheer for anyone except Eddy. I did catch a sweet Los Guerreros shirt when Dawn Marie was throwing them out. Also I stole a script of Sunday Night Heat from a foolish production guy before the show. It has everyone's interviews down to a quote. Pretty cool stuff.. wish I could have snagged the PPV version. Funny signs: "Waylon Mercy, know whadda mean?" ... "Over Used Billy Done" ... "JBL is my deadbeat dad".

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2004 I also give my condolences. And you paid 90$?! I wouldn't have paid $20 for a lineup like that. At least you can say "I saw the worst drawing World Champion of all time crowned for the very first time."

Guest The Mad Cappa Report post Posted June 28, 2004 I too was unfortunate enough to be at the Bash. At least my friend paid my $30 ticket instead of me! I'm still trying to shake off the effect of witnessing JBL becoming WWE Champion!
Guest Eugene` Report post Posted June 28, 2004 We have a House Show coming here for the first time in 10 years.....and I just realized something. Tickets were 50 bucks (ringside) and I pretty much worked an entire work day just to see JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD COME TO SUDBURY AS THE WWE CHAMPION.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted June 28, 2004 Did you stick around to see Bearer be removed from the tank? I couldn't even see the tank from where I sat. I was on the opposite side of the ring from the entryway.

Dark Age 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2004 It was much better than this show. At least that had a pretty good E/C/Hardyz schmozz against Hollys and Too Cool. Big Show winning the title was also pretty cool at the time. What did this show have? Fat guys getting killed and JBL as Champion. Superb.
Guest The Mad Cappa Report post Posted June 28, 2004 Did you stick around to see Bearer be removed from the tank? I did. There was a group of EMTs that rushed out with a strecther and had a hard time trying to get him onto the thing.
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2004 Did they wheel him out in the big block of concrete?
Guest The Mad Cappa Report post Posted June 28, 2004 Here's the thing, just like right after the PPV ended, the EMTs rushed out there and opened the glass crypt and out he came to the floor. The EMTs struggled to lift him up onto the strecther while little bits of concrete was still pouring into the glass crypt. The funny part was that no concrete flowed out of the crypt while there was a definite grey coloring almost to the top of the glass.
Mole 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2004 We have a House Show coming here for the first time in 10 years.....and I just realized something. Tickets were 50 bucks (ringside) and I pretty much worked an entire work day just to see JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD COME TO SUDBURY AS THE WWE CHAMPION. I was thinking about going to see Vengeance at the Hartford Civic Center, but I can't really afford it right now. If I happen to get some money soon, I can still get a good seat. I just looked it up online for best seating they have, I got: Section: 3 Row: E Which is pretty good, but not for $200 when it is Raw PPV.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted June 29, 2004 Theres a guy further up in the thread who offered to host my scanned pics of the script. I've sent him the first two pages but he was going to work and he's posting them later. The rest might come tomorrow if there's enough interest. It's really not as great as it sounds. Scroby 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2004 You paid 90 bucks for 9 rows back for the Bash and I paid 45 bucks for ol about 13 rows back (which were good seats and I could see everything) at No Way Out...whose the real winner here? (LOL j/k) But from what I heard the truck had some problems and Paul B. was some guy in a horrible mask and make up. But I read that on prowrestling.com and they'll post anything from somone who went to a show.
