EdwardKnoxII Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Paul Bearer Comments On His Death What does Percy Pringle III have to say about last night's events? The following is from the newly updated "biography" of William A. Moody b.k.a. "Paul Bearer" or "Percy Pringle" -- from the man's Web site: I worked for the Jarrett’s Nashville based NWA-TNA organization during late 2002, and early 2003. Then after a couple of weeks of negotiations and prayer, I signed a new contract with World Wrestling Entertainment on October 3, 2003. Making my first appearance back on WWE television on March 14, 2004 at WRESTLEMANIA-XX. Reuniting with my long-time business associate The Undertaker at Madison Square Garden. I proved that ‘kayfabe’ is still alive and well for 5-months, as my return wasn’t leaked to the ‘dirt sheets’ until 7-days prior to my reappearance. Of course if you asked me, I was in denial until the moment the pay-per-view audience around the world heard that first chilling “gong” in The Undertaker’s entrance music. On Sunday, June 27, 2004, at THE WWE GREAT AMERICN BASH - PPV, at The Scope Coliseum, in Norfolk, Virginia. The Undertaker himself, destroyed The WWE Character Paul Bearer. Paul's body was encased in a glass crypt, filled with concrete for eternity. Thus ended the 13-year relationship between The "Dead Man", and his confidant. It has been said that Paul Bearer, was The Undertaker's only weakness, in the fact that his feelings for him demonstrated what remained of "The Phenom's" mortality. The Web site also has a new graphic paying tribute to Paul Bearer (different than the one reported here last night). Credit: PercyPringle.com
Ultra Violence Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 doesn't sound too upset does he.... good thread title too

He sure proved a point about the 'dirtsheets', when they still managed to leak it in advance. It has been said that Paul Bearer, was The Undertaker's only weakness Bearer was always one of the Undertaker's main strengths, along with the urn. Let's not rewrite history here, to justify this.

So this means he will NEVER be back................right???
Guest Repo Man Reborn Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 How can he comment if he's dead? Is wrestling fake?
Guest D'Lo White Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 It has been said that Paul Bearer, was The Undertaker's only weakness, in the fact that his feelings for him demonstrated what remained of "The Phenom's" mortality. This is false, the Undertaker showed more feelings and concern for his blke then he ever did Paul Bearer. Also, I don't see the name Paul tattooed on his neck.
Guest Loss Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Do you think Kane will be upset that the Undertaker killed his father?
Guest TigerDriver91 Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Do you think Kane will be upset that the Undertaker killed his father? Cross-brand continuity? HA!
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Do you think Kane will be upset that the Undertaker killed his father? I swear if this means some sort of Brothers of Destruction reunion......I'm killing myself......nevermind....JBL IS the WWE champion......bring on the wrestlecrap I say!!!!!!!
Guest Loss Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Then again, he wasn't upset that his father was in his opponent's corner at Wrestlemania, so why should he be upset now? Yeah, there was that little incident in late 1998 where the Undertaker and Paul Bearer admitted to starting the fire that killed Kane's mother, but they were back in good graces with each other by 2000, and Kane teamed with his brother all through 2001, even though he turned on him a year prior. Bischoff needs to give Kane time off for evaluation.
nl5xsk1 Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Maybe Bearer will be like Han Solo when he was frozen by Jabba the Hutt, and they'll drag his concrete tomb around for the next few months until the 'Taker turns face and liberates him.
Art Sandusky Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Undertaker didn't comment on Kane being unmasked, which was a HUGE deal, so don't expect any mention tonight of Mr. Bearer's death.
Guest Loss Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 You know, this whole thing would make for the perfect opportunity to introduce a "liberal filmmaker" gimmick to the company, especially if they wanted to be topical. He could do a documentary on Kane that shows that society's ills should be blamed for making him what he is, not he himself. He could even do similar documentaries on other wrestlers.
Art Sandusky Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 No, you'd have to have that character on Smackdown so Bradshaw could beat him up three times a week and call him an America-hating bastard.
Guest bigdiswrestling Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Hmmm... Is it just me? or is it kind of funny that a few years back, Stone Cold could get arrested for beating up the company boss... ...yet Taker and Heyman aren't taken into custody for KILLING somebody. R.I.P. Wrestling Credibility... P.S. Let's not hail the Nazi Champion...
NoCalMike Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 like clockwork, Vince will sign him for WM to appear in UT's corner.....thus magically ending the "Paul Bearer is dead" storyline.
Guest D'Lo White Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 like clockwork, Vince will sign him for WM to appear in UT's corner.....thus magically ending the "Paul Bearer is dead" storyline. This will be the real return of the deadman Undertaker, where he will look exactly the same as he does now but with gray gloves.

Sara resembles the original Taker more then the current UT does.
Jobber of the Week Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Yeah! He sure proved a point about the 'dirtsheets', when they still managed to leak it in advance. Remember that a lot of guys who have been in the business before a certain point hold a grudge on the current tell-all situation it's in today. You can't deny that being an informed fan and knowing what's in the dirtsheets doesn't make the show a smidge less fun.

You can't deny that being an informed fan and knowing what's in the dirtsheets doesn't make the show a smidge less fun. Oh yeah, totally. But he's saying that it was an achievement that it wasn't leaked right away or something, when it was leaked anyway. Got this e-mail from fan services: Fan Services to me 10:55pm (6 minutes ago) Last night's "Concrete Crypt Match" was similar in concept to the "Buried Alive" matches of the past. No one was murdered. After the The Great American Bash Pay-Per-View went off the air, the crowd at The Scope in Norfolk saw Paul Bearer come up for air and then placed on a stretcher to receive "medical attention." There will be an update on Paul Bearer on this Thursday's WWE SmackDown! Stay tuned. Thanks for your email and for your interest in WWE.
deancoles Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Do you think Kane will be upset that the Undertaker killed his father? Undertaker killed both of kane's parents and yet out of the 2 Kane is the "monster".

I didn't think anyone got anything back from these people. This also leaves a window open for a return...
Guest The Decadent Slacker Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 If i'm booking this, i have JBL buy the remains of Paul Bearer from Heyman, then wam, they can feud. But then again i suck.

Must have been cool for the fans to see dynamite go off in the arena. Well.....there must have been dynamite involved. I mean, Paul Bearer was completely trapped in a block of QUICK-DRYING CEMENT. Unless the paramedics managed to poke a straw through the cement block to give Bearer some air......AND carried the entire cement cube onto a stretcher and into an ambulance....that explanation makes zero sense. The WWE Web-Writing Team really should just stick to the Garrison Cade articles.
Guest Trivia247 Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 well gotta admit, William certainly isn't exhibiting any ill will to where his character's brick wall direction. I hope he has a good life where ever it leads him.
The Czech Republic Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Do you think Kane will be upset that the Undertaker killed his father? Cross-brand continuity? HA! ANY continuity? HA!
Dark Age Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 I can't believe all you idiots. A man has LOST HIS FUCKING LIFE on a WWE ppv and you are all laughing about it! You make me sick. I hope that the Undertaker and Paul Heyman burn in hell, the evil bastards. BURN IN HELL I SAY! R.I.P Paul Bearer (Show the guy some respect)
The Czech Republic Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Personally I think WWE should not do death angles as wrestlers have a way of doing shoot death angles quite frequently as it is.
Guest Loss Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Perhaps Al Wilson could be the new Paul Bearer, also risen from the dead.
