Questions about Taker/Kane

Recommended Posts

Guest Redhawk

I haven't bothered watching WWE in quite a while, so I'm a bit confused as to what's been going on recently:

1) What was on the line for Undertaker at GAB? From what WWE's website said, if Taker allowed himself to be pinned by the Dudz than Paul Bearer would live; but if Taker won the match than Bearer would die. So what on Earth did Taker have to gain by winning the match? Is he so competitive that he'd rather see someone die than lose a match? Was he getting a title shot if he won or something? If so, is the title more important to Taker than someone's life?

2) Did the announcers even bother to entertain the possibility of criminal charges? You've got Taker for murder; Heyman for accessory to murder; Heyman for conspiracy to committ murder of some sort (didn't he publicly promise/threaten to kill Bearer a couple weeks ago?); and I'm sure Vince and/or Angle are up for something criminal, since they oficially sanctioned the match.

3) When the hell did Kane and Lita start boning? And why? Last time I saw, Kane was just leering at her. Did he rape her? Has she turned heel and been willingly sleeping with him?

4) Did the RAW or Smackdown announcers mention anything about Kane's reaction to his father being murdered on TV?

1) It's SD, do not question it's fountain of wisdom.

2) They are now claiming Paul is not dead, to be updated at SD.

3) She boned Kane so he would stop beating up Hardy.

4) No

She agreed to bone him if he'd stop bullying Matt, or she literally dropped her drawers and offered it up to stop Kane in mid-beating? Okay, I'm sure it was Option A. By the way, wouldn't that be extortion on Kane's part? Oh yeah, there are no police/prosecutors in WWE World, unless they're being used to escort a babyface out of the arena.

Ya know...in that Kane interview on Raw- JR really should have asked Kane how he felt about HIS DAD DYING

Yeah and they should of had UT say something about Kane losing his mask and not look like someone that should be covered with burnmarks.

Not that I am a fan of anything going on with this Undertaker/Bearer crap, but Kane shouldn't have too much concern (character-wise). He tried to kill his brother who was alligned with Bearer. Why the hell does he care? If Kane is portrayed as this serious monster with not an ounce of good in his body, why would he give a damn if the traitor got axed?

Wouldn't you be a little upset if someone killed your father before he got to see your first child? He might have been relying on having Paul around to babysit while he was having a match.

Speaking of Taker/Kane, can someone give me conformation on the funeral home fire

- Originally Paul Bearer claimed Taker started the fire

- Then it was stated that Kane actually started the fire

- Then it was revealed that Paul Bearer actually did the deed?

Am I imagining Bearer being the arsonist or is that just more forgotten revisionist history from this mindless story?

Surely looking at this from a logical standpoint is ludicrous. Kane's character is anything but sympathetic to anyone. His character has been developed solely on the fact that he hates anyone and everyone and is only out for himself. He wanted the title and throws tantrums when he doesnt get his way. He wants a child and will bully whoever he can to get one so he can be "normal". He lights people on fire. He attempted to murder the Undertaker, who was nothing but his friend and ass kicking partner for years and just so happens to be his brother. Why in the world would he give a damn about Bearer when Bearer decides to just pop back up and side with the Undertaker rather than his own son?

That would require attention to detail and continuity. I'm surprised they even remembered J.R. being set on fire by Kane last year.

Maybe Kane not commenting about his father's death had an underline story to it. By not commenting on such a tragedy that involves his half-brother and father, he's leaving that family in the past, and focusing on his new family with Lita and his baby.

Or they just didn't bother discussing it. One or the other.

Taker later admitted to burning the place down after one of his heel turns. That was the last word. So, in actuality, Undertaker has murdered three people.

I find Kane to be a sympathetic character...

(ducks all sorts of garbage thrown at him)

Eh, it's better than the people who find Lita to be a sympathetic character.

I'm just waiting for Heyman and The Dudley Boyz to take credit at this point

Ya know what would be the best ending. If Kane admitted that while he did have sex with Lita, that he's also "shooting blanks".

Nothing like causing two people grief just because you can

But, that would end the "Kane's supersperm: guaranteed to impregnate you" substory

Last I heard on the funeral home fire, the angle was that Bearer and Taker started it to kill Momma Bearer and Kane.

Of course, Kane has gone from Zombie to Zombie With A Heart Of Gold to Guy Who Is Proud To Be A Zombie to Guy Playing a Zombie Who Lost A Friend In A Car Accident to Insane sorta-Zombie.

Undertaker identified that Paul Bearer was a weak link to him, a sign of weakness that someone like Heyman could exploit. So The Undertaker took Bearer out of the Equation leaving Heyman without his leverage.

Nothing but his friend? Haven't they feuded about 15 times?

Couldn't he have just, you know, fired him or something as his manager? Did he have to go all the way and kill him? By the way, someone posted a house show ad where Taker is tag-teaming with Eddie Guerrero. So apparently Taker is still gonna be a babyface.

At Wrestlemania Paul Bearer said to Kane 'You're no son of mine.'

So I don't think Kane and Paul Bearer were on good terms.

Taker didn't turn heel. He's sort of a tweener now I guess since he still is after Heyman. Since coming back from the dead he just only gives a damn about himself.

Funny how having your manager killed can't turn you heel, but calling Mae Young an "old bat" probably can.

Man, this Kane/Taker/Bearer thing has to be the most convoluted thing in "sports entertainment" history. Wasn't there a rumour that Kane had a movie in the works? Maybe Vince is taking this "I make movies" thing a bit too far  Next thing we know they show the Lita/Kane sex scene in the movie.

I agree with those who say that even Jim Ross could have asked Kane about his father dying(although they are claiming he isn't dead). Why does Kane have to be all bad? I thought Vince came out in 1997 and stated this was passe?

The fire was started by the hummer driver, who is the same person behind GTV and the rising briefcase. He is also the real father of Lita's baby.

They should seriously introduce a wrestler whose gimmick is that he is behind all the weird shit that has gone down over the years, no matter how strange.

Next week on RAW: Maury Povich guest-stars, and he has the paternity test results!

Maury: "In regards to as-yet-unborn Jeffy..........Kane........you are NOT the father!"

Kane: "Yeah, bitch, I told you! I told you! Hell yeah!"

Maury: "Oh come on, Kane! Someone get him outta here!"

Matt Hardy: "So that means it's mine, right Lita?"

Maury: "Well, Matt Hardy, in regards to Jeffy...........Matt...............you are NOT the father!"

Matt: "WHAT?!? You skank! I can't believe you!" (Matt storms off the stage.)

Lita: (Crying).

Maury: Lita, don't worry we'll help you find the real father."

Lita: Don't worry about it, Maury. It's juth not worth the rithk."

No, nobody realises that. So what if it's not real? People point out plotholes, mistakes and so on in movies, so why not hold WWE to some standard?
