Guest DonWestMark03 Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 Hey guys and gals, I'm looking for your opinion on Weird Science, the television series. I have enjoyed watching this show ever since it was suggested for me to see. Bottom line, it kickst major ass! I love how Lisa (the genie) grants Gary and Wyatt wishes, but the wishes always fuck Gary and Wyatt over. Also, you gotta love Chett! Boo yah~!
Guest JMA Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 I used to religiously watch this show (along with Duckman). I even saw the series before I first watched the movie.
Guest DonWestMark03 Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 Same here, I have started to watch the series now, but I have not watched the movie yet, but I'm planning to.
Youth N Asia Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 I loved that show. I think I've seen them all and would buy them on DVD. Although weird seeing Chet go from badass to prison bitch on Oz.
Slayer Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 "I love your show, but I can't past the ridiculously complex plotlines...."
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 If anyone gets the WHAM network on digital cable...they play it twice a day.
razazteca Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 I watch it on Sundays on the Starz Movieplex channel which shows WAM programming all day. Damn some of the programs are insanely stupid.
Guest wildpegasus Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 The show was hit and miss for me but when it was hitting on all cylinders it was great. So many classic moments and the charactors of Chett, Wyatt and Gary were just so charasmatic. And the genie was hot!   Classic Moments -- Whole video game episode  Chet fighting the vacumn cleaner on the floor with a knife in his mouth  X-Ray Vision glasses  Chett backing up his jeep and hitting on Wyatt and Gary who were turned into girls for an episode  And maybe my favourite -- Chett not being able to resist the disco soundtrack
Youth N Asia Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Don't forget the muscle suit episode and the remote control episode
Guest wildpegasus Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Don't forget the muscle suit episode and the remote control episode Yup, I loved the remote control episode. The muscle suit ep is starting to fade from my memory but I remember I liked it. Another classic ep was the show where Gary and Wyatt were given watches. One was for when Gary would lose his virginity and the the other was for when Wyatt was going to die. As you can imagine you can have lots of fun with that scenario.
Placebo Effect Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Ed Ferrera actually wrote parts of that series.
Youth N Asia Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Yeah, and it turned out they had each others watches...so in truth one was going to die soon and one was never going to get laid. When they originaly thought one was getting laid soon and one had forever to live.
Guest PlatinumBoy Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Yeah, and it turned out they had each others watches...so in truth one was going to die soon and one was never going to get laid. When they originaly thought one was getting laid soon and one had forever to live. Isn't that backwards, I remeber this episode and my Mom being in the room and it being one of those awkward, I'm 13ish and want to laugh when they mention sex--but what will Mom think of it sorta deals. But they watches were switched in that the one guy had like 65 years to live and the other 2 days before he got laid, but they switched them so it was 65 years to get laid and 2 days to die--so they thought. I remember the big military brother making fun of the 65 years to get laid stuff, basically stuff like, "65 years before you have sex? Sounds about right!" Hell, I even remeber the start of the episode where some total loser had gotten laid and the main guys were pissed. I too saw this show before the movie btw.
C Dubya 04 Posted July 15, 2004 Report Posted July 15, 2004 What happened to Lisa from the show? She was in Kingpin, was rediculously hot and was a decent actress, and I haven't seen her again. What gives?
