Guest TigerDriver91 Report post Posted July 16, 2004 Kurt Angle will return to in-ring action tomorrow night at WWE’s second show at Tokyo’s Budokan Hall. He will team with John Bradshaw Layfield to take on The Undertaker and Eddie Guerrero. Angle has been out of action with neck problems for the last few months and is currently slated to wrestle at SummerSlam against Guerrero. Credit: http://www.pwinsider.com I wonder just how much time in the ring Kurt will have for tomorrow's match? It's nice to see him trying to get back into action, but I still worry about his neck problems and all that. Kurt vs. Eddie at SummerSlam will put a smile on my face anyway, but I can't see it being a classic or anything. Eddie's been banged up lately too.

Only The Strong Survive 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2004 I don't expect him to get much ring time, if any at all. He'll probably just be involved in the finish, screwing Guerrero out of a victory. I hope he's able to work some more dates and gear up for his big SummerSlam match so that's it's the best match it can possibly be considering both he and Eddie are injured. Enigma 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2004 Kurt Angle will be this generation's Dynamite Kid. Just watch. So, he'll be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life soon? Yes. Because you know he is not going to slow his pace down because he cares about his performance too much.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2004 What a depressing thought. And, while Angle's a veggie invalid because he gave so much of himself for the fans...Undertaker and Bradshaw will still be in the main event.

Actually, he just said a short while ago that he's given up on that and will wrestle a different style in his match with Eddie.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2004 Kurt Angle will be this generation's Dynamite Kid. Just watch. You're the second person to say this in the last week so this will be the second time I have to repeat myself: Don't insult DK's skill by comparing him to Angle. Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2004 I think the comparison he is making is that he thinks Angle is going to wrestle himself into a wheelchair and a young age. He's not comparing the skill levels of the 2 guys.
Enigma 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2004 Kurt Angle will be this generation's Dynamite Kid. Just watch. You're the second person to say this in the last week so this will be the second time I have to repeat myself: Don't insult DK's skill by comparing him to Angle. I'm not comparing skill at all. I'm comparing the mentality that they must never slow down despite their very severe injuries because of their drive to put on a good performance. That has nothing to do with skill. Except for the fact that DK outshines Angle in just about every possible way. I'm an Angle mark too.

That is quite possibly the funniest thing i've ever read on here. Oh, and i'm not avoiding discussing your point of view. It's just that some things are quite simply so wrong that there is no need for them to be disproved.
frisco 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2004 Angle is a hell of a wrestler. Granted the dynamite kid was also a great wrestler, but their styles were pretty different. In my opinion Angle is every bit as good as DK but thats my view and I know others will disagree .
KTID 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2004 I tend to make fun of people for their stupidity. In this case, however, it is more ignorance than stupidity, so i'll let you off.
