Guest Agent of Oblivion

Zakk Wylde's drunken crunchy Ted Nugent act is equally as tired as Slipknot and Korn, and has been since the first BLS release.

The paragon of heavy metal mediocrity.

I completely agree with that statement.

Be fair, Agent. 1919 Eternal is a great fucking album, complete with more melody and less of the typical Zakk pitch harmonic screeching cat guitar sounds. I think it's the best BLS album, also having the best BLS song in "Mass Murder Machine."

I'll definitely agree that 1919 Eternal is the best BLS album (and my 2nd best album pick of 2002, with the first being obvious to anybody that knows me at all), mainly because Zakk worked on writing good songs (lyrically and musically) as opposed to showing off his solo abilities and how many pinch harmonics he can hit in a minute. But I disagree with "Mass Murder Machine" being the best off that album, as I feel "Demise Of Sanity" is better, with maybe "Another Bridge To Cross" topping it in awesomeness.

It's ok for what it is, but I still don't like it. His voice shits me bad. The rest of his albums are dump, in my opinion. The newest one especially.

The new one is DEFINITELY no Book of Shadows. Back then, Zakk could still sing, due to his voice no being destroyed due to endless amounts of beer and touring.

Honestly, BLS shouldn't release another album for AT LEAST two years. Zakk needs to give his voice time to rest. It's reaching mid-80s level of Robert Plant on the badness scale.

Wow, I don't want to see any of those shows. But I have odd taste in music.

Phish

Strangefolk

The Killers

Korn

Beastie Boys

That would never happen, but it would rule.

Barenaked Ladies

&

Pat Green

If you have seen either of them live, they are both outstanding in their own ways. Plus they write their own music, and I'm a big fan of both, so yeah..
