syxx2001 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Moe was with the Lovematic Grandpa, not Barney.
Guest Fook Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Yeah but during that skit Barney made an appearance and mentioned he had a date with that woman outside the drugstore who's always yelling things. Moe: She told me she was washing her hair tonight.
Richard 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Well I wouldn't be surprised if Krusty had some homosexual experiences, being in show business as well as an apparent drug addict.
algrim 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Barney had a fling with Linda Ronstadt in the "Mr Plow" episode. They were both in a jacuzzi.
Guest Sturgis Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Well I wouldn't be surprised if Krusty had some homosexual experiences, being in show business as well as an apparent drug addict. Ah, but he has. In an episode where the baby montior is picking up cell phone conversations Krusty said he was with a chick, at least he thought it was a chick. My pick: Santa's Little Helper Yes he's a father, but in an episode that had a gay pride parade SLH was looking at gay dogs in a excited way.

Guest tangerine Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Moe sounds painfully obvious. Smithers is redundant as hell. I will say that if FOX had balls, they would have Ultra Fundy ned go the other way.
spiny norman 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2004 I don't watch this show anymore. And already this sounds like one of the stupidest ideas ever and will show beyond any further needed proof that the show needs to end. But if it's Smithers, the entire show is ruined. For good. Beyond any reparable damage.
Guest Smark-Raving Mad Report post Posted July 28, 2004 I bet it'll be someone out of left field, like Hans Moleman. It'll be a cheap laugh, and it will be LAME.

Guest Staravenger Report post Posted July 28, 2004 My top 6 List: (Kids don't count) 1. The Sea Captain 2. Groundskeeper Willie (he DOES wear a skirt) 3. Patty 4. The Capital City Goofball 5. Cookie Kwan 6. Ol' Gill
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2004 It won't be a kid, because the episode is based around gay marriage ... and regardless if elementary school aged children know if they're gay or not, they're not old enough to wed. And I doubt that it'd be Smithers because it wouldn't be news-worthy. And I think that Groening & Co. are looking to capitalize on the gay marriage debate controversy with this, so picking a known gay character for it wouldn't work. Carl & Lenny have been hinted at being more than platonic friends (numerous times) but it would really change the dynamic of the Moe's Tavern clique to have them be married. So, I doubt it's them. My guess was going to be Patty a/o Selma even before spman posted that thing from snpp.com. (I can't remember which one of them was always getting married ... whichever it was, I was thinking the other one.) The only problem with it being Patty or Selma is why would Homer be the minister? They hate him, and vice versa.
Guest Nelly's Bandaid Report post Posted July 28, 2004 If it's an already established idea that there moving foward on it's gotta be Selma or Patty, whichever one was on the closet float in the gay pride parade. Smithers is too obvious, Milhouse is just wrong, and Lenny and Carl's love just shouldn't be talked about......it will only cheapen it.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Mr. Burns has no heir, and has only been shown with Marge's mom, which went nowhere. He should reciprocate Smithers' love, because the thought of a frail old man engaging in sodomy will make people go "eeewwwww" plus it makes sense, and it'd be kind of a surprise. (I can't remember which one of them was always getting married ... whichever it was, I was thinking the other one.) The only problem with it being Patty or Selma is why would Homer be the minister? They hate him, and vice versa. Selma's the one with all the failed marriages. Patty, except for a brief fling with Skinner, chose a life of celibacy. My guess as to why Homer would be the minister is because Rev. Lovejoy refuses to perform a gay marriage and since Homer is the only other one who can (thanks to the internet), they have no choice. Guest Fook Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Mr. Burns has no heir, and has only been shown with Marge's mom, which went nowhere. He was also in love with Marge for a brief period and was engaged to that female cop until she went back with Snake. Let's not forget he has a son too, with the daughter of the prof he slept with at university.
JasonX 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2004 They should make it Ned Flanders and have him excommunicated from the church just to see how the Pope reacts. I'd love to listen to the Pope talk about the Simpsons. Flanders is baptist not catholic.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2004 2. Groundskeeper Willie (he DOES wear a skirt) No, he wears a kilt. Plus, most crossdressers are straight anyway. The only crossdressers that aren't are called drag queens.

The only crossdressers that aren't are called drag queens. Good point, but my list was mainly a joke...except for Gill. Gill has the odds against him, if we all remember the WNBA basketball game that started an episode...
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted July 28, 2004 I can't see it being Moe. His courting of Marge, sleeping with the waitress during the Flaming Moes episode and the insurance fraud all go against the notion that he could potentially be gay. It also kills his character when you remove the fact that he's so ugly no woman will have him jokes.
Guest Staravenger Report post Posted July 28, 2004 Don't forget he was making out with Patty, and wanted to sleep with Gill inside some mascot costume.

Mik 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2004 Hit cartoon series The Simpsons is pushing for gay marriage rights in America with a shocking episode featuring chain-smoking twin Patty wedding another woman. Animated father Homer is ordained as a minister and marries Marge's sister to her dream woman in the eagerly-awaited show, which criticizes American President George W Bush's refusal to allow homosexual marriage. The sitcom will create further controversy later this year when Marge delivers a Christmas speech to the British public, which will rival monarch Queen Elizabeth II's traditional festive message. imdb.com Not that much of a stretch. I'm sure it was predicted a few times in this thread, but I don't feel like going back and reading it.
