Guest Salacious Crumb Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 I think it's the fact that this guy made 2 posts on a guy that no one cares about.
Guest dwdw_IGN Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 I for one am thrilled to hear this! I have been watching Shawn Daivari on Steel Domain Wrestling up here in Minnesota for a couple years now. He has always played a great heel and he is very talented in the ring. His finisher also is great and pretty damn funny. I remember he had a very good match on Heat a couple months back so with Tommy Dreamer that impressed the hell out of me. So I wish him all the luck in OVW and I hope he gets called up to the WWE soon and has good luck there!
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Wow... a less talented Sonjay Dutt means he's the best guy to debut since Eugene!
Guest Dougie Nunny Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 I make two posts no one cares about? How I am I supposed to know that no one will care about it before I post it when it's well recieved everywhere else.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 I make two posts no one cares about? How I am I supposed to know that no one will care about it before I post it when it's well recieved everywhere else. If it makes you feel better, I think you're not bad. Oh and don't talk like that, some people might think it's "confrontational"
Guest ArchoanJB Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Question "Dougie": how exactly is that shooting in any way shape or form?
Guest Dougie Nunny Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 It's not. That is an advertising gimmick that all interviewers use. Wrestlers consider it shooting so we post it as such.
Guest Nanks Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 "Nobody has heard of this guy, nor you for that matter. " Yes, I haven't heard of him. That's why I conducted an interview with him.....yea good logic there. Are you even literate?? That is an advertising gimmick that all crap interviewers use. ^Edited for accuracy
Guest Dougie Nunny Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Sorry, but honestly, I didn't see the problem in posting these two things. My friend thatdude told me this was a good place to talk anything about wrestling.
Ravenbomb Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 As someone who has followed TNA in the past and semi-follows ROH, why have I never heard of this guy until now? Because he sucks
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Sorry, but honestly, I didn't see the problem in posting these two things. My friend thatdude told me this was a good place to talk anything about wrestling. You were mislead.
Guest Dougie Nunny Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 So someone adresses me and I respond, and I am not literate? And honestly, I couldn't care what you think.
CanadianChick Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Guys, stop being dicks. He was just posting the signing of a new guy. But Nunny, next time, could you combine the topics, since it's pretty much the same subject manner?
Guest Dougie Nunny Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Yea, sure. I only posted twice because I didn't think some people would wanna read an interview.
Exslade ZX Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Mother of God..... They couldn't really let him do that on TV surely.... Well they have. I've seen it done three different times on Heat..a while back. And as mentioned on another board, he may take part in this storyline with Jimmy Snuka Jr. and Mark Magnus that was thought to be in the works awhile ago. The Arabian Gimmick...
tekcop Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Mother of God..... They couldn't really let him do that on TV surely.... And as mentioned on another board, he may take part in this storyline with Jimmy Snuka Jr. and Mark Magnus that was thought to be in the works awhile ago. The Arabian Gimmick... That's pretty much what I was thinking.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 What about the inevitable MUGATaker feud the WWE has planned for any rookie they sign to SD!?
Caliban Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Never heard of him... but he looks like prime jobber material for the E.
Jobber of the Week Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Hurry up, let's get this guy's career over with. Have JBL squash him and let's continue on.
GreatWhiteNope Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Dougie Nunny - You wrote a whole column here about how you despise the current WWE product and try to get Indy feds over via internet promotion. That's cool. But this is the WWE folder. We don't care what Shawn Daivari thinks. Try and keep that stuff in the designated "Misc. Promotions" folder.
Rob E Dangerously Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Hopefully he'll come out to Steppenwolf
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 This guy just oozes "Indy Spotmonkey" from every pour of his body.
Guest Dougie Nunny Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Too bad Shawn Daivari is in WWE and this IS WWE news. I would keep this in the Misc Promotion folder if it WAS Misc Promotion. It's not. And my column does not say how I despise the WWE product. Please show me where I said that.
Guest JMA Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 I remember Tommy Dreamer canning the hell out of this guy a while back on Heat. I do wonder if having an Arabian character in WWE will cause any backlash in the media. Assuming he keeps the Arabian gimmick that is.
Bruiser Chong Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 "Nobody has heard of this guy, nor you for that matter. " Yes, I haven't heard of him. That's why I conducted an interview with him.....yea good logic there. He means no one's heard of him or you, jackass. Go away and quit trying to shill your shitty writing and unenthralling interviews with future jobber fodder of WWE.
GreatWhiteNope Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Too bad Shawn Daivari is in WWE and this IS WWE news. I still don't care. And my column does not say how I despise the WWE product. Please show me where I said that. I have to admit - I only skimmed through your column. Know why? It's long and tedious.
Guest Dougie Nunny Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Screw this. This forum and it's viewers are bringing the worst out of me. You don't want me here? Fine, I won't post my stuff or shills (if you can call them that). See ya around.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 I remember Tommy Dreamer canning the hell out of this guy a while back on Heat. I do wonder if having an Arabian character in WWE will cause any backlash in the media. Assuming he keeps the Arabian gimmick that is. Others have in the past suggested they do a "rich Saudi playboy" gimmick, which I think would probably be the only entertaining way of doing a gimmick with an arabic-styled wrestler. It would get heel heat from the obnoxiousness and not just the skin tone.
