UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 BTW, S D, it was implied that the activities with the "Hummer" were Eric Bischoff's designs, as revealed when Bischoff did a hummer attack on the 04-10-00 edition of Nitro.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 (6) Soon to be released Matt and Lita action figures two-pack I'd say that puts the kibosh on a Lita heel turn.
Promoter Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Promoter, if you haven't read it, don't comment. Actually, I said I didn't read ALL of it. Just saying.
Guest Bitterness the Star Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Top seller or not, Lita turning heel would make sense, and I'lll attribute that turn to something that occurred in the bedroom with Kane. Seriously, could you imagine how over that's gonna get Matt with the casual fans?
Spaceman Spiff Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Wrestling Noir 08.13.04: A Response To Matt Hardy Posted By Asteroid Boy on 08.13.04 Right now, you're Randy Savage without the world title reigns. And he's the only one in the WWF that made the loving husband gimmick work. And frankly, Randy Savage in the 80's could wrestle circles around you. That me be true, but I'd wager Matt Hardy could wrestle circles around you. What's that got to do with anything?
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 The fact that a non wrestler probably isn't the best authority on the subject. Particularly this writer
Ravenbomb Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 (6) Soon to be released Matt and Lita action figures two-pack I'd say that puts the kibosh on a Lita heel turn. not if it's a "Matt vs. Lita" thing
Spaceman Spiff Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 While true in this case, not being "in the business" doesn't mean a person can't put forth spot-on analysis.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Sure, but in this particular case, I wouldn't put much stock in this guy's opinion on wrestling or the business considering he's coming off now as a cat who's chasing a mouse trying to get his name out. There are very few people that I know of that I'd really put a lot of trust in when it comes to spot on analysis.
Enigma Posted August 15, 2004 Author Report Posted August 15, 2004 Top seller or not, Lita turning heel would make sense, and I'lll attribute that turn to something that occurred in the bedroom with Kane. Seriously, could you imagine how over that's gonna get Matt with the casual fans? That's impossible. Remember? Tori said he had a burnt-up weiner.
Guest Loss Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 You guys do know that when wrestlers attack the Internet, they're only doing so to work us, right? If you really think Bradshaw is exactly like his on-screen character, that means he's doing his job getting heel heat and that you're being worked. The tirades from wrestlers against the Internet are intended to get a reaction, but at least understand that they're entirely kayfabed. Matt has yet to attack anyone, so obviously he isn't in this category. But if you don't think WWE enjoys the fact that HHH, for example, is so hated on the Internet, you're totally wrong. It's just another avenue for him to be a heel.

It's just another avenue for him to be a heel. But there's a difference. The IWC mainly hates HHH for the things he does in real life, not for his television character. It's not like they are saying, "You are such a good heel, I hate you," it's, "You're such a fucking asshole to your co-workers, I hate you." I say "they" and not "we" because I like HHH, but you know what I mean.

He's a freakin' pussy-whipped putz. They'd cheer Kane for being a playa.

And I do think there's a grain of truth in it, but I also think WWE plants information of HHH being a self-serving jerk out there so he can get heel heat on the Internet. It's stupid, but I still believe a lot of the info we get is kayfabed.
