Guest bigm350 Report post Posted August 15, 2004 What would you consider to be the Holy Grail of wrestling? If you had to find one thing that best represented Pro Wrestling what would it be? It doesn't matter what it is. It can be a belt, boots, or whatever. IMO I would have to say the Big Gold belt. But its a tough call with all the historical significance in wrestling. Maybe the Hart House? I don't know.

Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2004 I would say the ECW Aena/Bingo Hall. This was seen as a chance for upcommers to try and show themselves on another level, instead of working for 25 people they got larger crowds.

Guest Ray Report post Posted August 15, 2004 I'm surprised no one picked the most important thing in wrestling... THE MATCH! Kawada/Taue vs Misawa/Kobashi 6/9/95 is, for me, the absolute peak of the artform. Wait....isn't a "Holy Grail" something great, that hasn't been found? Guest Prof_Plague Report post Posted August 15, 2004 Oh, the choices. First off, I'll have to go with what Hulk Hogan once said: the boots he wore when he picked-up Andre the Giant. But, that's one of many choices. ...As for random things: Pete Rose in a chicken suit and the Goobledy Gooker.

Guest momoracci Report post Posted August 16, 2004 Akira Hokuto vs. Shinobu Kandori, 4/2/93 Misawa/Akiyama vs. Kawada/Taue, 12/6/96 The deepest and richest examples of in-ring storytelling I've ever seen. Kiyoshi Tamura vs. Tsuyoshi Kohsaka, 6/27/98 Pure wrestling at its absolute pinnacle. Each of these, one way or another, is a Holy Grail for me. The belt from 70's- early 80's held by Dory and Terry Funk, Race, Brisco, Flair, and Rhodes? Thats a good choice.

Hulk Hogan's face run before Lesnar took him out not necessarily the very greatest of wrestling, but what I feel represents the passion of wrestling and what makes it great
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2004 6. Hulk Hogan's face run before Lesnar took him out The 2002 comeback run? Losing to Lance Storm & Christian? And Triple H? And Rock? And Lesnar? And Taker? And Angle? I think that Hulk/Andre rematch from SNME justifies what "wrestling" is all about nowadays.
