STATEMENT: Edge will win a world title by the end of 2005 despite fan reaction or his in-ring/mic work.

Rebuttal: False, unless he does a 360 degree turn and totally renovates his look, style, and gimmick, he's going to continue to get X-Pac heat to the point where it will affect his push.

Rebuttal: Edge's charicter is boring, but is far from getting X-pac heat. He is just in a fued where the other guy is more over. Edge will be World Champ soon because of his in-ring work.

True, either John Cena or Eddie Guerrero should be in SD's WM XXI main event or both.

Eddie vs Angle part three is the key.

Please, spare me. Eddie/Angle is about as stale as The Dudleyz, and Eddie's character is quite boring now as well. Angle/Cena would be infinitely better.

It would work with proper booking. Have Angle "break Eddie's ankle" and let Eddie take a month off. It'll let him heal his injuries, get his head together and he'll come back more over than ever. Have Angle constantly avoid Eddie, getting different heels to face him each month (Chavo, Show, JBL), with Eddie running through them all. Kurt wins the title, Eddie wins the Rumble, and it's on at Mania.

^ Rebuttal: I enjoyed Angle / Guerrero @ WM XX more than I did with Angle / Cena @ No Mercy last year so I feel Angle / Guerrero III would be a better choice since they would put on a better match IMO.

Rebuttal: Sometimes the better match isn't always the right decision. The company needs to build for the future. Randy Orton is RAW. Cena needs to be Smackdown!

Angle/Eddie III would be a better match, but it wouldn't make the Wrestlemania 21 title match feel special like it should. Angle beating Eddie or Eddie beating Angle in their third match just wouldn't be that special type of moment Wrestlemania needs to have. Cena going over for the title would be historic. The better match isn't always the better choice.

But, they can get by without Cena as champ. Blow Eddie/Angle off at WM, and have Cena beat Taker. Then, Cena is the top challenger for Eddie after Mania. After he finally beats Kurt of course.

If Cena/Angle happens, does that mean we'll see Eddie/Taker as the other big Smackdown match, cause that's the only thing I can see. Even Vince isn't foolish enough to put Bradshaw near the top of the card, and the only other upper midcard wrestlers I can see near the main event are Big Show, Booker, and RVD.

But Eddie already beat Kurt at Wrestlemania last year. Doing the exact same thing two years in a row, especially at the biggest show of the year, wouldn't particularly be exciting to watch.

But this time, Eddie's challenging for the belt. He can get the big title win at Mania. It'd feel more special than this year. Eddie climbs back to the top of the mountain. You could have Kurt say Eddie has never beat him fair, whereas Kurt has. Then Eddie does it at Mania.

The WWE hasn't had one near 5 Star Match all year.

I, personally, loved Eddie/Brock. I dunno about ***** though. Triple threat and Eddie/Kurt ruled as well.

Statement: Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho should be on Smackdown. Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton are going to be the super faces anyway, so there is no reason for Benoit and Jericho to be there. Moving them to Smackdown would help in taking away the B show feel of SD. Plus, with those two on SD there will be no reason for me to watch Raw.

Yeah but Cena is terrible. In the ring and on the mic, he is just god awful. Orton is green on the mic but has improved so much in a short period of time. Cena hasn't improved. He's gotten worse and needs to improve a great deal before he gets the World title.

Rebuttal: Cena may be stale to us, but crowds still love him. If he injects a little more vitality into his character and gets a more high-profile angle, he's money.

Statement: Smackdown right now is even more boring and uneventful than it was right after the split, prior to the SD6 era.

Can't believe the Venis comment got ignored. Val Venis should go over Edge for the IC Title. He's a top-notch worker who is almost a clean slate due to the utter mis-use of him over the past three years.

STATEMENT: The next person to criticize Bret Hart will be deemed as shit, no matter how good they've been viewed leading up to it.

The crowd still loves Rikishi too. It really doesn't mean shit. He's resting on his good heel mic work.

Rebuttal: Shawn Michaels should go to SmackDown. Job him out to Christian, Edge and Kane and then send him over to SmackDown post WrestleMania for a fresh start and dream matches with Guerrero and Angle. Benoit just switched. It'd be dumb to switch him again.

Statement: Eddie Guerrero's title reign was botched much worse than the Benoit title reign.

Statements:

A-Train is one of the most underrated workers in the WWE.

At this point, the WWE doesn't have enough talent to run Smackdown as a viable seperate brand. A year ago the brand extension was a great idea, but with Brock, Austin, Goldberg, the Rock leaving, and Angle being limited in-ring, they don't have the star power to make two shows work.

The WWE's best opportunity to survive in the next 5 years is to sign and build their shows around indy talent, because their home grown workers are simply not good enough to draw once the main eventers now are too old to work with any consitancy. Only Orton strikes me as somebody who will be able to carry a show in 5 years.

Side-statement. Having Randy, Eddie and Benoit as champions in recent months gave the WWE an opportunity to move away from a "hoss=good" mentality that could be used to make stars out of people like Paul London (or AJ Styles and Chris Daniels if they were smart).

Thoughts on previous statements.

Hogan serves the WWE no purpose at this point. He's too horrible in-ring and old to put anybody over credibly, but his characters rep is too inflated to job to anybody.

JBL and Bautista are both becoming overrated by folks at TSM because standards have dropped so low that their style of work is better than what we're seeing from folks like Cena and RVD, who rely far too much on signature moves and high spots.

Jericho is very overrated right now. Both on the mic and in ring. His in ring work is totally formulaic and his mic work is sophmoric. He needs a heel turn post, haste.

Personally, I like both reigns and thought they were both pulled off well. Benoit's climb to the belt was better, but I think Eddie had the better reign.

STATEMENT: WWE is better than the IWC gives it credit for.

No, keep Michaels on Raw where I don't have to see him. That way they can have it be Orton and Michaels against Evolution without any pesky "outsiders" involved.

With Benoit going back to Smackdown, he and Jericho can get on the mic and say they switched looking for real competition on the A show. Benoit can say that he originally went to Raw because he knew winning the Raw World title would be easier. You know, the stuff they did earlier this year to put over Raw and bury Smackdown.

Statement: Val Venis deserves much better than his current role on the RAW roster

True, because let's face it: no one deserves a Porn Star gimmick. I'm all for everybody being unique, but Venis is one guy which I prefer as just Sean Morely.

Another statement: If I never saw HBK wrestler again, I'd be OK with that.

Rebuttal: I like Shawn, so I disagree. I'd like to see him work with different people though (read: not Triple H!).

Rebuttal: I disagree, I'd like to see Shawn work with Jericho, Benoit, or Flair again. I'd also like to see Michaels work a program with Angle or The Rock. I have no problem with HBK being around if he's not in the title picture (and if he is, he should fucking get the belt already after the last 5 times he was denied, that shit gets annoying.)
