The Stevie in drag storyline

When are they going to reveal the man in drag as Stevie Richards and reunite him with Victoria?

 

Seriously, I think we might be getting close to two months of this storyline, which, to be perfectly honest, isn't nearly as interesting as they think it is, mainly because it's been obvious who the mystery woman is from day one.

 

Also affecting this is that the same damn thing happens every time. I've had to see "Victoria in trouble, woman stumbles out and helps her" half a dozen times. If they are going to continue this for a while longer, can they at least move to phase two? is there even a phase two? Do they plan to just have him reveal himself one day and end it?

 

It's pretty insulting to the fans that they keep running with this angle the way it is when everyone in the building and watching on TV knows who it is.

Nevermind "when will it end"...WHAT DOES IT MEAN? The Stevie/Victoria relationship hasn't been played up in a while. The only thing I can think of is this "woman" helps Victoria win the title back, then reveals it to be Richards, only to turn on her and ask for a shot at it. Lame, confusing...and right up RAW writers' alley.

On Raw, Gail had Victoria basically beat--Victoria couldn't even see Stevie had come out, and Stevie was a long way from even the ring. If Gail held out a little longer, it looks like she could have won...

 

Instead, she lets go, walks to the edge of the ring like she's going to stop him or something, and gets rolled up for the loss. Gail looked like a total dumbass, Victoria looked like she got a fluke win, and nothing was really accomplished anyway.

It seems like they just forget this storyline, put it on TV again, forget about it once more, and put it on TV yet again. When Richards first started doing this, it lasted like 2-3 weeks than it was forgotten for a long time, than recently they started again.

 

I have NO idea where this is going, why its happening, what the perpous is, when will it start or when it'll end.

 

So far, the only thing thats going on with this storyline is that Richards just interfiers in Victoria's matches while dressed in drags for no reason and thats it. Its just BEYOND stupid just reading it.

On a Heat a little while ago, he came out as just Stevie Richards. Maybe he forgot the drag that night.

 

I want Stevie to be Victoria's bitch again. That is the only time she was interesting. She can still be a heel.

 

And turn one of the chicks a face already. When the second biggest female face is Nidia, it's time for a change.

I had originally thought it was fishy that Victoria on byte this those many months ago essentially admited that Stevie and her Broke up. I had thought that was a bit of breaking kayfabish if they were having an actual relationship.

 

So perhaps its a work since then. a work they just haven't explained very well in terms of what this angle is going for..

As of last night.....all fans capable of understanding any other WWE storyline know it's Stevie....JR and King know it's Stevie....the divas that wrestle against Victoria pretty much gotta know it's Stevie. So who doesn't know it's Stevie? Victoria? How wouldn't she know when she use to be with him? So if she knows...then the only possible thing is that....eh....Stevie doesn't know that everyone knows?

 

Ah, okay....now it sorta makes sense to myself if they start playing it as: Stevie acts like he has no idea about the "mystery women" when confronted about it. And if that's it....and Psycho Stevie lives...then cool.

Lets just put it this way:

 

If a storyline is bound to suck so much that everyone can crap on it, the WWE makes it go like 4-5 months (such as JBL/Mugataker and Test/Steiner). The opposite can occur with a good storyline, after a month, it's done (Cena/Eddie for US title, Benoit/Orton)

As Is usual with The WWE Creative Team, they came up with a beginning, but have yet to find a middle or an end to this story. Memo to the writers: Have some Idea on where a Story Line Is going to go before actually putting it on T.V. It just might help!!

I've always sort of thought that the direction they were going to go with this is that Stevie is supposed to be stalking her in order to "win back" her love.

 

But that leaves the question of why he has to dress in drag to do it - or maybe someone on the writing staff has some personal fetishes which they're bringing out in their work.

Nidia, for as much a worker she's not, actually had a character on Smackdown. Why did they move her?

 

It's a lot like what happened to Matt Hardy. He had a gimmick and a personality on Smackdown. Until this Kane/Lita crap, he had nothing when he moved to Raw.

I forget which Raw it was, but I remember that he came out in drag at least three or so raws ago and the fricken Front row crowd chanting STEVIE! STEVIE!
