Downhome 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 From IMDB: The remastered IMAX version of the film is about twenty minutes shorter in running time than the origial theatrical version. Some of the missing scenes are the dinner that the astronauts have aboard the ship that results in Bill Paxton being sick into a plastic bag, and Cathleen Quinlan telling the off the press. Si82 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Why is Kevin Smith doing commentary for the Donnie Darko director's cut? According to the commentary Richard Kelly says that Kevin Smith is a good friend of his and is there to avoid long moments of silence and to be able to comment on the on comic book narrative installed in the director's cut. He also asks Kelly questions about the film.

Desperate Housewives: The Complete First Season and Lost: The Complete First Season are set to debut on Sept. 20 and Sept. 6 respectively. The DVD editions of both ABC series will have a suggested retail price of $59.99. In addition to all the episodes from its premier season, the Desperate Housewives set will contain an alternate ending of the season finale, unrated versions of episodes, a making-of, commentaries, a documentary on the series' popularity, a look at the fashions of Wisteria Lane's inhabitants. In its six discs, the Lost set will also contain the original pilot, behind-the-scenes footage, deleted scenes, casting tapes, outtakes, commentaries, featurettes and a roundtable discussion.
