any game review link that mentions it would be cool as well thx

nevermind found something on it:By Michael Smith

Reders of TMQ will know that Easterbrook has encouraged Vanderjagt to miss an unimportant kick, lest he honk a big one. Well, he honked a big one. Maybe he should've missed a meaningless one last year...

TMQ == best football writer on the internet.

Technically he did against ?, but since there was a penalty on the play, it didn't count and he barely made the rekick.

And TMQ does indeed rule. He and MMQB (Peter King) are both great reads.

He was bound to miss one that game. Every kick was coming closer and closer to being a miss.

Can someone point me to the Vanderjerk quotes where he said that the Colts are a better team than New England? What an idiot, when was the last time the Colts actually won against the Pats? 2000? Money, my ass. The streak wasn't that impressive given that the Colts play their home games indoors. Let's see Vanderjerk kick a game winner with snow blowing in his face at 20 MPH or with a wind chill of -25.

You knew Vanderjagt was gonna miss, it was coming, there was so much hype about his streak it just seemed like this was the time he was gonna miss. I said damn he is gonna miss before he kicked, because there was so much hype I figured he'd fuck up.

I think he's done that in Denver. And in the CFL - because everyone knows that if you were a kicker in the CFL you're automatically good...

...OK, not really, although KC was definitely trying to prove that theory by having Tynes try to boot a 63 yarder...
