Apprentice 2

As for Trump/Cuban... is there anything sillier than two billionaires fighting over who is the better businessman? Who is the first to claim a larger penis?

To me, Cuban has always seemed to be a guy who doesn't give a shit unless you try and tick him off (or you're playing the Mavs). All I can say is that both guys make for good television, and that Trump is the master of self-promotion and exaggeration.

It has been like that since the beginning of the show. It happens with Probst on Survivor too.

Overdubs happen on just about every show or movie. Just not as blatant as Trump's. Trump just doesn't sound natural doing it, and Burnett (or the show director) probably just said "fuck it" and ran it in as is, knowing that it would either be regarded as annoying or more unintentional comedy from The Donald.

So at this point, who do you guys see as the final two? I'm thinking Jenn and Kevin or Kelly, with maybe Raj as the other guy making it to the interviews...

I think it will be Kelly and Jen.

Andy will screw up eventually. Maria isn't good enough. Raj will do something stupid eventually. Chris is too cocky. Kelly kinda slips under the radar.

Jen is the ultimate power female.

What's the deal with those people coming back? It's a bit too early to have fired contestants be employees, isn't it?

At this point I only see Kelly, Jennifer & Kevin as even having a chance. Andy is a real long shot, and the others are clearly weaker.

If I was to pick one of them, it would be Kevin. Kelly is too confrontational at times (especially with Andy) and Jennifer just hasn't been able to accomplish as much as the guys because of her teams. She could easily pull it out from behind though.

I actually thought Andy kicked ass on this task.

He did really well, and he's showing the potential to reach the top. He'd be a good fit a jr management position, but again, it comes down to age and experience, which he's gonna need before he starts running one of Trump's companies into bankruptcy (not that they need more help with that).

You'd think so, but where are Pam, Lil Stacy, John and Elizabeth? I've got no clue on this one.

Unintentionally funny overdub of the week: When Trump talks about meeting Bill Rancic at the Miss Universe pageant. Seeing as Trump was meeting Kwame until he got DQed as a judge for waving at some contestants.

The bringing back ppl is interesting but at the same time the stupidest shit ever.

I'm really gonna be pumped to see who get's fired each week next season and think "Well it doesn't matter because they could be brought back."

I am happy to see Rob coming back though, should provide some great comedy and I felt bad for him getting the boot the first week before he ever got to do anything because the teams were too big and he couldn't find his niche.

Trump Breaks Own Rules in Latest Firing

Sat Oct 30, 1:37 PM ET

Television - AP

NEW YORK - Donald Trump broke the boardroom rules on NBC's "The Apprentice." The elimination scene during Thursday's episode was briefer than expected when real estate mogul Trump fired project manager Elizabeth Jarosz, 31, without letting her battle it out with other teammates.

"I think he had his producer hat on and thought it would make a good TV moment," Jarosz told the Associated Press Friday. "And I happened to be the fall guy."

In the second season of the business-themed reality show, Trump has allowed the losing project manager to select either two or three teammates for roasting.

"I don't want to waste time," Trump told Jarosz after she revealed she would have brought Raj Bhakta and Chris Russo back into the boardroom. Trump fired her in front of the entire team. And he didn't consult with his "eyes and ears" advisers George Ross and Carolyn Kepcher.

"I think George and Carolyn would've said how amazing I was on previous tasks," said Jarosz. "They had the ability to see me lead very well."

In the episode, both teams were told to create an advertising campaign for New York Police Department recruitment. Jarosz's team was criticized for creating a fearful, non-emotional campaign.

"This is what I do for a living," Jarosz told the AP. "I knew exactly how to run the business. It was the `Survivor' mentality of the team. I went into this hoping to do more business challenges than reality show challenges."

Could this girl be any less with it?

I've been complaining about it for a while- I hate it.

I also hate the filler 'Suck Donald's Dick' portion of the show

The whole show is about sucking Donald's dick.

They had a whole episode where people tried to convince other people to pay money for regular old water with Trump's face on the label. I mean, honestly now.

Now that Bradford's back, they should just fire everyone besides Bradford, Kevin, and Andy. Those are the diamonds in this mountain of crap.

My god. Not even Stacie J. or Midget Stacy were this delusional.

I think we tend to forget that these are people that are successful in the business world (or debate club) so when they get fired their egos take a massive hit. They go into denial mode, where they can't see what exactly they did wrong. Although in some cases (like Little Stacy) it's more what they DIDN'T do (buptkus) than what they did incorrectly.

I hate that look that waiters give you when you ask for water and they seem shocked that you mean regular tap water and not the bottled stuff. Hey, if I want to spend $8 on bottled beverages I'll buy a couple of beers.

Bumpage.

Anyways, my quick thoughts for this week: Andy pulled out a victory from the certain ashes of defeat, the women were once again useless, and Trump was once again petty and fired the wrong person.

I'm amazed that Ivana is still around. Every week she contributes nothing, and at the beginning I pegged her as one of the first people fired. I don't understand.

And Raj is the man macking on Robin at the end. "Now that I'm allowed to talk to you, how about you give up your number?" Ha.

I dont think Trump was petty at all this week. Raj simply made too many mistakes. Sure other people screwed up but in the end it was his head. Plus, Ivana didnt deserve to be fired "this week".

I didn't watch the episode yet this week but from what I heard I am so upset that Chris ends his not being criticized in the boardroom streak with his remarks at the end.

He made two, and the last was the one that got him fired. He knocked out a wall, and he didn't bring Chris in with him. Because of the latter, Trump doesn't let Raj get a word in, and ditches him. Similar to Bradford and Elizabeth, he had his mind made up before the 2nd Boardroom started. Personally, I think that if George is watching this task, things will probably be different, but since it's a notGeorge and sometime toady Carolyn, nobody was willing to contradict the boss.

God that blonde Jennifer is a scheming bitch getting Raj to bring Ivana in.

I'll admit Ivana is clearly not going to be the winner but she didn't do anything wrong on this task.Plus I think she's kinda cute and needs to stick around for eye candy :D

Chris is such a douche. The guy acts so high & mighty like when they were doing the dog massages and he was talking about how beneath him it was.Now he's gonna have to lead a team that will be against him.

It's sad to see Raj go as he was the most entertaining person on the show but he fucked up by letting the contractor work him over.

Ivana is a bit too banana for me, which is hypocritical on my part seeing as I'm just a bit less of one than she is. Actually, none of the women this season have really attracted me as far as eye candy goes.

The show won't be the same without Raj, but he was the breakout star of the first half, and he shouldn't have much trouble converting his exposure to doing better in the business world.

Also, it's tragic that at least two of Chris, Ivana and Maria will be around for the final eps (if they do a final two task like last season).

(Side note) 5000th post!! Took long enough...

The worst part of this is that Maria and Ivana will be around for the final couple of eps (if it's similar to last season), and good people like Raj and Bradford got the boot because they did something that Trump didn't like. Still, I LOVED how Maria got caught up in her own lies and her only recourse was to blink really quickly.

Seven of Nine was much less bitchy this week, btw. She didn't even backstab Ivana once!!

Andy continues to hold his own. I'm still believing that he won't win, but he's impressing me every time out.

I'm absolutely shocked that Trump didn't do a preemptive firing, btw. There was just no way for Chris to survive if he lost. To his credit, though, he had the classiest taxicab confession of any candidate.

Yea she backstabbed Chris instead who pretty much saved her ass from a possible firing.

Chris was just all talk and probably the least deserving person on the show.

Damn trump for scaring me with that "Should I fire Ivana?" line! :D

I won't say i'm finally warming up to Andy but out of everyone who is left i'd say him and Kelly are the only two with a shot of winning.

I wouldn't really call that backstabbing. More like just adding fuel to the fire. After his comments last week, either he would succeed or he'd get fired this week. It was as simple as that.
