EVIL~! alkeiper Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Oakland @ Pittsburgh Seattle @ New Orleans Cincinnati @ NY Jets San Diego @ Houston Jacksonville @ Buffalo Detroit @ Chicago Baltimore @ Cleveland Tampa Bay @ Washington Arizona @ St. Louis
razazteca Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Domaniac Davis had a good reception which resulted in a Texan FG.
Guest D'Lo White Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 I had high hopes for the Jets this season, mainly because they have one of the easiest schedules I've ever seen. but this start is horrible.
razazteca Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Clinton Portis earned his paycheck by getting the TD early in the game.
Mik Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 That long Portis run was his first carry as a Redskin. Joe Buck said it best...Welcome to Washington Clinton Portis. 60+ yard TD on your first carry is amazing.
tpww7 Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Jets tie it up on a quick pass out to Curtis Martin.
Brett Favre Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 NY Jets just tied it. Jesus Christ though, Paul Hackett has to fucking lighten up already and let Pennington do his thing.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Battle of the Punters thus far in Buffalo.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 OOOOOOOhhhh. nearly picked by urlacher.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Bills take the lead after Moulds first TD since opening day a year ago following a Leftwich pick. Leftwich (and the Jags offense in general) is playing terrible.
Guest D'Lo White Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Jets take the lead on long TD pass to Jonathon Carter, same guy who fumbled opening kickoff. Carson Palmer has looked pretty good for Cincy though.
KingPK Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Guess this is the Jets team everyone has been waiting for.
Guest Vitamin X Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Washington-Tampa Bay: One of the games that are in dispute in the kkk contest for me is working out in my favor so far. That NY-Cincinnati game is a battle of good young quarterbacks. Wouldn't be surprised to see a shootout there.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Ah, you stink, Grossman. Way to air it out five yards behind your wide open man.
Guest Flyboy Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Someone could setup a chat (on AIM or something like that) for us to comment on the games -- it'll be a lot easier that way.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 A somewhat exciting Steelers/Raiders came has gone terribly BOR-ING BOR-ING...
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 I will now be cheering on the Bengals...
therealworldschampion Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 The Redskins look good, but Tampa is not looking too hot
Guest Vitamin X Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 I agree about the AIM chat. All these threads are fast becoming +1 posts after another.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Both offenses look like shit this game, though the Bears defense is showing up. The defensive focus is pretty evident with Lovie Smith in charge now. Next step: GET GROSSMAN SOME DAMN PROTECTION! His WR's aren't doing shit either. Dropped balls, bad positioning, telegraphing routes...Offense looks like really really bad. Whoa. Dick fuckin' Jauron's the Detroit DC now?
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 And the Bengals fail to get the TD, but a field goal results. 14-10 Jets.
2GOLD Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Drew Brees is lost as lost can be right now and the Chargers are struggling cause of it. Meanwhile Tommy Maddox is having trouble hitting his receivers right now. The point? I don't know how long either of them will be in. Maddox will probably be in longer than Brees at this point.

Or is it also Grossman playing terrible? Who's Chicago's OC now?

therealworldschampion Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 You mean former Rutgers HC Terry Shea??
2GOLD Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 You mean former Rutgers HC Terry Shea?? Yes, that Terry Shea. Former Chiefs QB coach as well.
