The situation with Randy Moss worries me since he tried to play hurt last week which resulted in what 2 plays. If Moss plays this week I believe it will be as a decoy which means more short passes from the Tight End and whoever is the Running Back. I predict 160 total yards for Moore, 60 yards receiving for Wiggins, maybe 100 split for the other WRs not named Moss.

David Carr vs. Jax, or Trent Green vs. Indy?

Right now, I've got Green as the starter (I've been using Carr pretty much all season), since I envision a shootout. I'm just a bit hesitant I'll see a repeat of last week, where KC put up 56 points while Green only had 269 yd. passing and 0 TD's.

Am I making the right call?

You've got to go with Green - whereas Jacksonville has an actual defense, the Colts might as well prop up life-sized cardboard cutouts in the secondary. You can't count on the running backs to steal eight touchdowns ever again.

Actually he was used as a decoy last week, he only played for two plays. I don't think they will play him for a full game this week, but he'll probably get alot more action unless his injury is worse than they say.

I read they might throw him on in red zone situations. He can still yank down those ridiculous jump balls.

Brady over Carr, as I don't think Brady will throw as many interceptions against Pittsburgh. Not as many as Carr is likely too.

As for Brady or Brees... It's a toss up really. I think that Brady would still be the better choice, while Brees has found the TD zone a lot. It really depends on if the QBs are TD mostly or yardage. Because if it's yardage, I have a feeling Brees will get more yardage than Brady will.

Went w/ Green. Turned out to be the right choice.

I'm in 2 leagues. In 1 I have Green, and in the other I have Peyton, so I made out like a champ.

Stupid Stat of the Week:

2 QBs threw for 400+ yards today and both were on losing teams.

It proves Doctor Tom's theory even more.

Rushing 20-30 times in a game gets you wins. You can't air the ball out for 350+ yards and expect 4 TDs to be put up.

And yes... I had Brees before... I dropped him in the Keeper league and now I feel like a fucking fool.

The problem is that neither the Colts nor the Broncos defense could stop the run. Both Plummer and Manning threw for near 500 yards today but the defense on their respective teams let Micheal Vick and Priest Holmes run for 100+ yards.

Yeah. Same thing happened to me in the keeper league with Reuben Droughns. I believe I dropped him for Justin Fargas, then I find out the day after that Droughns was going to get the start. He ended up getting like 195 yards on the ground or something, as Fargas didn't even play, and my team lost by some small amount. Ah well. At least he's gone back to playing average again...right after I picked him up in my other league.

C'est la vie.

I got douched this week, as I kept in Moss at WR, who did zero, and Thomas Jones ran for a yard--and then got hurt. Though my team is looking up for next week--I convinced a guy to trade me Reggie Wayne and Shawn Alexander for me giving him Issac Bruce. I also straight up traded Warrick Dunn for Donald Driver, and last week got Duce Staley straight up for Pierless Price. So now my core of Runningbacks is pretty swank with Thomas Jones (if he's not injured), Onterio Smith (picked him up since he comes off of suspension soon and no one else had him), Shawn Alexander, and Duce Staley. Also this week, my kicker--Elam had his worst week of the year.

Wow, that Plummer for Thomas Jones trade is looking better ever week now.

Hopefully Jones isn't too hurt. He put up huge numbers at the beginning of the season. Still, I'm including him in a deal to get TO (hopefully).

Curtis Martin @ Cleveland? Or Willis McGahee home against St. Louis?

I've got Martin as the starter right now, but giving hard thought to putting in McGahee. Edgerrin is my other starter.

And for informational purposes, I also have Rudi Johnson (home against Pitt), and Michael Pittman (home against SF) on the bench. I don't think Rudi will do too much against Pitt, and Pittman is too inconsistant, so I'm not even thinking about playing them.

WR dilemma:

I have 5 WRs and have to start 3. Here's the breakdown

• Hines Ward against Washington

• Donald Driver against St. Louis

• Randy Moss against Jacksonville

• Larry Fitzgerald against New York Jets

• Joe Jurevicius against Carolina

Driver's a no-brainer. But Moss supposedly will be limited to 20-25 snaps after coming off his injury, and Ward's numbers have been down with Big Ben at the helm. Who should be my 2nd and 3rd receivers? I need to know ASAP since we have to get our rosters square before Turkey Day's early game tomorrow. My head says stick with the guys that got you there (Moss/Ward), but I fear a letdown by at least one of them.

Any suggestions?

Carter? The Arizona QB is Shaun King.

And if Burress is out, doesn't that mean that the Washington secondary (one of the league's better pass defenses) will clampdown on Ward even harder?
