Tasteless thread...but since I posted, I'll just name a few.

Jake Roberts and Marty Jannetty have to be on top of the list though.

Jake Roberts is definitely at the top of mine...

I'd also imagine Duke Drose did a number of drugs if accounts are accurate.

Let's not forget Terry Gordy. The man O.D'ed himself into a coma and simply fuckd himself up to the point he had to learn how to walk and talk again. I'm amazed he was still able to wrestle, but that shows how determined he was.

Didn't Louie Spicoli die of an overdose? Curt Hennig, Rick Rude and Brian Pillman all died prematurely as an extension of doing drugs as well.

But I think the Von Erichs take the top prize, with Jake Roberts coming in not far behind them.

From more recent times - Jeff Hardy and Eddie Guererro.

Snuka is #1 for me, closely followed by my favorite wrestler back in the day, Jake.

Jannetty and Candido/Sytch round it out.

Flair claims he's never touched a drug, and that he hasn't been on the juice in years.

I wouldn't argue against that last point.

OK, he's not a roid monkey, doper, pothead, dragon puffer, pill popper, or whatever words you would want to use.

Steve Corino's ring introduction before his match against the drug free CM Punk in ROH:

Ladies, Gentlemen and residents of the State of New York...

Professional wrestling is a sport rich in tradition. Traditions set forth by the manliest of men. Men who abused other men...men who abused the occasional woman..and men who abused themselves through substances like drugs and alcohol.

We are witness tonight to a man who holds close to him these very traditions...a true man's man like so many of wrestling's greats before him.

Men like Captain Redneck Dick Murdoch, Terry Bamm Bamm Gordy, Jack Victory, Beautiful Bobby Eaton, William Regal, Outlaw Ron Bass, Jesse Barr, Bruiser Brody, Swede Hanson, The Cuban Assassin, Gentleman Chris Adams, Sean Waltman, Killer Tim Brooks, Jeff Hardy, Sabu, Shinjiro Ohtani, Angelo King Kong Mosca, Davey Boy Smith, Manny Fernandez, Paul Butcher Vachon, Maurice Mad Dog Vachon, Scott Hog Irwin, Brusier Bob Sweetan, Kintaro Kanemura, Tracy Smothers, Steve Keirn, Gene Kiniski, The Crusher, Buddy Roberts, Dr. D David Schultz, Stan Hansen, Hollywood John Tatum, Adrian Adonis, Marty Jannetty, 2 Cold Scorpio, Wahoo McDaniel, Vader, The Iron Shiek, Hacksaw Jim Duggan...

continuing now, men like Chris Candido, Ox Baker, Jack Brisco, Playboy Buddy Rose, Bill Dundee, Hangman Bobby Jaggers, Ricky Morton, Michael PS Hayes, Andre The Giant, Gino Hernandez, Matt Borne, The Junkyard Dog, The Original Doink The Clown, Brad Armstrong, Nature Boy Buddy Landell, Chuck Guillotine LeGrande, Dick The Brusier, Harley Race, The Sensational Intelligent Destroyer, Ray The Crippler Stevens, The Road Dog, Ernie The Cat Ladd, Terry Funk, Hot Stuff Eddie Gilbert, Cowboy Bill Watts, Magnum TA, Mad Dog Buzz Sawyer, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, Scott Hall, Raven, Scotty The Body, Johnny Polo, Wildfire Tommy Rich, Jake The Snake Roberts, and all of the Von Erichs

And following this tradition is truly one of wrestling's greats...weighing in at 233lbs of cold-filtered fury...the Extreme Horseman..the King of Old School...the King of Kings..the King of Beers..and the fucking GOD of pro wrestling...Steve Corino!!

Yes, I think he was.

It's actually a mistake in the transcript. I'm pretty sure that Bobby Cruise said "Matt Borne [dramatic paus] The Original Doink The Clown". The Junkyard Dog was listed before or after Borne.

I'm sure Hall was more known for hitting the bottle, but anything is possible.
