JoeDirt Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 Who did/has done the most drugs in wrestling? Who is coked out of their minds?
Guest Staravenger Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 Tasteless thread...but since I posted, I'll just name a few. Jake Roberts and Marty Jannetty have to be on top of the list though.
The Mandarin Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 Anyways, I'd assume the Von Erichs, Jeff Hardy and The Rockers to name a few. But it's simply gossip.
Guest Sturgis Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 The Von Erichs Raven Jake "The Snake" Roberts Tully
deancoles Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 Roddy Piper Tammy Sytch Shawn Michaels Jimmy Snuka Jake Roberts
JoeDirt Posted September 20, 2004 Author Report Posted September 20, 2004 Hey, we all need a tasteless thread once in a while.
Guest BrokenWings Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Jake Roberts is definitely at the top of mine... I'd also imagine Duke Drose did a number of drugs if accounts are accurate.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Let's not forget Terry Gordy. The man O.D'ed himself into a coma and simply fuckd himself up to the point he had to learn how to walk and talk again. I'm amazed he was still able to wrestle, but that shows how determined he was.
Australian Pride Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Didn't Louie Spicoli die of an overdose? Curt Hennig, Rick Rude and Brian Pillman all died prematurely as an extension of doing drugs as well. But I think the Von Erichs take the top prize, with Jake Roberts coming in not far behind them. From more recent times - Jeff Hardy and Eddie Guererro.
Guest Rrrsh Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Snuka is #1 for me, closely followed by my favorite wrestler back in the day, Jake. Jannetty and Candido/Sytch round it out.
snuffbox Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Tully Blanchard, Jake Roberts, Dynamite Kid, Marty Janetty, Ric Flair... Im going to guy there might be a lil chrystal meth in Ian Rotten's company as well...
The Mandarin Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Dynamite Kid How could I forget Sir Roid Rage himself? Ric Flair Flair claims he's never touched a drug, and that he hasn't been on the juice in years.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Flair claims he's never touched a drug, and that he hasn't been on the juice in years. I wouldn't argue against that last point.
snuffbox Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 I include Flair because he seems completely wasted at nearly every appearance these days... And I get the feeling he may have had a few runny noses over the years. Just a hunch.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Flair's an alcoholic, not a pothead.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 OK, he's not a roid monkey, doper, pothead, dragon puffer, pill popper, or whatever words you would want to use.

The Amazing Rando Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 wasn't Matt Borne the Original Doink? If so, he lists him twice.
Dewe Posted September 21, 2004 Report Posted September 21, 2004 Yes, I think he was. It's actually a mistake in the transcript. I'm pretty sure that Bobby Cruise said "Matt Borne [dramatic paus] The Original Doink The Clown". The Junkyard Dog was listed before or after Borne.

algrim Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Can't forget about Rick Rude, Anthony Durante (Pit Bull II) and Scott Steiner.
Internet Warfare Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 Was Scott Hall also a drug user or just an alcoholic?
Guest Staravenger Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 I'm sure Hall was more known for hitting the bottle, but anything is possible.
