It seems as if quite a bit has happened in the past week or so to many of us to detract us from getting Dirty Deeds stuff done, or able to be submitted. I myself am guilty of it since I wasn't able to help with the writing of my match until the middle of this past week, given all the stuff that happened with my dad. I also know of one match that wouldn't be able to be posted until Tuesday the earliest since the poster in question had a computer crash. So, here's the plan. There will be no Dirty Deeds tonight or tomorrow. A kayfabe excuse will be written up, I'll have that covered. So...where do we go from here? Did we just outright skip a PPV? Heck no. This Thursday, as a show of good faith to it's customers, for the first time ever the OAOAST will present a "Free Per View". This Thursday will hereby officially be known as HD:DD, or "HeldDOWN~!:Dirty Deeds". It will be a three hour show, and will have the same PPV format. Think of it as a Clash of the Champions. This will give everyone the extensions they made need to finish, edit, and submit stuff. I hope this helps everyone out of the jams they were in. I feel that to post such a splendid and enchanting collection of writing would be far beyond my meager limitations! Perhaps, our fearless and revered leader, Zack Malibu would like to post it? So who's posting the show -- Patty? Much like Parka, I plan on using the extra time to touch up segments I have written. Unless the RR matches are written up in maybe a seperate, special show for Thursday, then we're not going to finish the Round Robin in time. Of, of course, we could 'skip' this week's planned matches, I could write up a house show thing with the results of those on and we carry on as normal. NYU 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2004 Several storylines could be ruined with Dirty Deeds being held on Thursday. I thought, maybe, we could have an edition of Saturday Night HeldDown. This way, the storylines that people want to continue - i.e. The Round Robin Tournament - could be done without too much interference. If anyone else wanted to put their stuff on this show, great! But even if we just had these three matches with certain segments from other people sprinkled throughout, then it shouldn't really be a problem. The entire Round Robin tournament has been planned out week-by-week, with point totals completely relying on the results for that week. If we're missing only one match - let alone one whole week - nothing will work out. If it is an issue for Patty to post up the show on Saturday night, I would have no problem doing it. I just think it's very important that this stuff gets handled the right way, rather than leaving people with some problems when it comes to a storyline. NYU 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2004 Well, it's basically going to be Dirty Deeds on Thursday and HeldDown on Saturday, I would assume. Most likely, the Saturday HeldDown is going to be posted up on Saturday afternoon, since I have a party to attend on Saturday night. I'll make a note on that in the Booking thread as well.
