TSM H2H NBA League: Year Two (2004-2005)

Recommended Posts

The season begins tonight.

So did everyone else look at their injury/suspension riddled team and think "What the fuck was I thinking?"

Well, the Pacers have so many guys injured that they didn't have room for Miller on the IL, so I have him on the bench right now.

I am happy enough with my team. From the looks of it, they should do just fine, though I have already replaced my two bench players with Udonis Haslem and Bonzi Wells.

I just hope this league will be more competitve than my Sportsline league. So far, half the teams never got active(and have "illegal" lineups, meaning they get 0 points) and most of the ones that are don't look too competitive. Ah well, 3 team leagues can be fun...I guess.

I'm gonna get killed until Kidd comes back. I'm scrambling to find a back up guard and so far, I've ran through 3 guards with no results. I'm on my 4th with Jamaal Tinsley, so we'll see how it goes.

Problem being, I didn't have Tinsley till after that performance.

I'm scrambling at this point. Theo Ratliff will win one category for me every week by himself, but I've got no scoring or passing and not many steals either. Rebounds and blocks are about all I'm gonna get with this group, but thats what I get for having an injured guard and drafting very forward heavy.

They REALLY cut back on who can play guard and forward too. I know Wally Szczerbiak plays some guard here and there, but you sure can't use him that way in the league. Same with Stojakovic and other players with long weird last names.

There are alot of players that have been added to the GF edibility list such as Matt Harpring of the Jazz and Rasual Butler of the Heat, also Amare Stadumire of the Suns might play Center.

The joys of owning Kevin Garnett, even if the rest of my team sucked KG alone gives me a ton of numbers in basically every stat and would keep me competitive. Of course the rest of my teams looking pretty good in it's own right so i'm feeling good about my chances this season.

My team's been solid so far this week with Kobe and Amare carrying my squad. Just dumped the suckness that was Clifford Robinson and picked up Primo(15/9 in his first game) in hopes that he can complement Eddy Curry and give me some more help in the blocks category.

Losing in the 1st week is not bad, just don't repeat the same mistake(s).

How can I not repeat mistakes when I underperformed? Well, I did miss one day, but I don't honestly think two guys would've been able to clear up the deficets I had to face against Garnett.

Hey, i'd take him if I get Big Z with him :P. Unless you want Al Harrington, Mike Dunleavy or Josh Howard back instead.

Ok... You want Z, you better cough up something better than what you originally did, as that wasn't a great trade going towards me. As I lost a huge chunk in points scoring and I ain't losing that.

And I'll think about a trade for Al Harrington.

Doesn't SOMEONE want Carter?

I am still somewhat considering that trade offer. Though, right now, I am too busy bitching at the Vikings for not giving Onterrio Smith the ball to make a ratonal decision.

Theo Ratliff is on the trading block officially. Preferably for a good guard.

After making almost a dozen switches, I've come to a decent core at group at the moment. I'll see how far it'll get me and then panic and trade Peja Stojakovic for Reggie Evans.

A 6-1 win followed with a 5-2 victory, i'm happy enough with my team that i don't see myself having to make any moves to change things at all, at least until the inevitable Grant Hill injury anyway. Of course saying this Garnett and Allen will inevitably get hurt tomorrow and throw things out of wack once more since things can never go totally smooth.

Once again, Theo Ratliff is on the trading block. My standards for what I wanted have drastically lowered. Throw something at me, I'll heavily consider it.
