Guest BDC Report post Posted October 1, 2004 Of course China would be upset if North Korea developed weapons to use against the US. They might not be able to get the money back they loaned to Bush! China has a huge trade deficit with us.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry's done decently --- but doing decently is not nearly enough. -=Mike At least he's not shitting his pants with every question being given. That makes Bush look really weak.

Steviekick 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2004 Of course China would be upset if North Korea developed weapons to use against the US. They might not be able to get the money back they loaned to Bush! China has a huge trade deficit with us. So then why is Bush so willing to take loans from them? He had money, but that all went out to Haliburton, Enron, and other needless tax refunds.

Guest TheLastBoyscout Report post Posted October 1, 2004 "He was a threat... that's not the issue..." That's a very deadly statement there. It's true. Kerry's problems with Bush weren't that Saddam was a threat, he voted for War too, but HE WOULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB DISARMING IRAQ. That was his point. Whether it's true or not is a matter of opinion. Bush is going to be killed on the Domestic Issues debate if TAX GAP is his best weapon against Kerry. They received some money out of the whole tax refund thing. And (although unrelated), the Bush Administration DID bend over backwards for them.

Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2004 The problem is that this isn't a major policy debate; he doesn't have twenty minutes to explain the intricacies of his plans, and it makes him appear to not have a plan.

Bush did nothing to save Enron. Bush did nothing to help them. Bush was lobbied to help them (by Clinton people) and Bush refused. -=Mike
