Guest Rrrsh Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 Those shirts are boring, lame, and generic. So the Orton one fits his character to a T. Batista deserves better, though. O, the wit. Yah, Generic dosn't fit a big man who is part of a group who yells a lot and dosn't cut promo's.
Lord of The Curry Posted October 2, 2004 Author Report Posted October 2, 2004 I miss the Curry RAW Fashion reports You're the only one which is why it only made a one-time appearance.
BUTT Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 A fashion plate like Batista deserves better than a simple t-shirt. They should be marketing three-piece suits with that design.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 He can have his own clothing line. "B" Commercial starts with a car cruising along the edge of a cliff. We see Dave Batista driving, the wind blowing in his face. He is decked out in a tan 3 piece suit, white shirt, and matching sunglasses. The music is a blend of opera, techno, and rock. A gentle voice whispers "B". Dave narrates: "B... B the one who takes control. B the one who lives on the edge." A bright light flashes and now we see Batista walking through a night club. He is now wearing a velvet 3 piece and matching shades. Completely oblivious to all the sexy ladies shaking their hips and wetting their lips at him. "B the one who stands out in the crowd. B the one who is on everyones mind." The room darkens and as it lights up we see Dave coming home, a black 3 piece this time, his sunglasses already off. He walks into the bathroom where he sees his special lady giving their daughter a bath. "B responsible. B a man." Dave smiles and we close out with him and his family laughing and playing. The whisper now says "B Everything" and the Batista logo appears on the screen.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 I will be severely disappointed now if the WWE doesn't capitalize on this. *blames Prez*
The Amazing Rando Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 *gets ready to comfort Rudo in his time of disappointment* B prepared.
Lord of The Curry Posted October 2, 2004 Author Report Posted October 2, 2004 Rudo you magnificent bastard you've done it again.
AndrewTS Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 Yah, Generic dosn't fit a big man who is part of a group who yells a lot and dosn't cut promo's. Except for those times he did and showed more intensity than Orton ever has on the mic (even if he hammed it up just a bit). Orton speaks well these days, but still is mediocre at best on the mic, because he doesn't convince me he cares about any of this. Even though as either a stylish badass or a frickin' monster, Batista still looks and acts the part. Even though he's improved by huge leaps as a wrestler and is developing into a very solid power wrestler/brawler. He looks hard and tough, and can be bought as either a monster heel or face. In contrast, Randy Orton looks like a Power Plant reject who hit a vending machine for his tats, looking like he's *trying* to look hard and failing miserably. He worked before the face turn because he looked like a pretty-boy, wise-ass, pussy heel. WWE trying to put him over as something serious makes me laugh. When his new music played and he came out for his match on Raw, it took me a while to remember who he was. He looks like a wuss who should be doing prelim matches, not like a breakout star who I can seriously buy as being a main eventer at this time in his career. Then again, it's not like WWE wanted the fans to cheer for him as a heel. Maybe there's something I just don't get that's great about him using the typical WWE face gimmick and doing typical WWE face stuff like annoying Bischoff, but walking around with a shit-eating grin. Oh, and OOOH--he spit in HHH's face. *yawn* Rudo: What happens if WWE brings back B-Squared, though?
Open the Muggy Gate Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 Rudo, you are a fucking genius.
Twisted Intestine Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 Wait... "Nobody gets higher than RVD" Gold.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 This thread = where I wanna B.
Lord of The Curry Posted October 2, 2004 Author Report Posted October 2, 2004 They should make a Batista shirt that says "I B-lieve in Dave".
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 "Throughout life, there are obstacles. Whether they big or small, life brings them. (Whisper: "Batista") In my life, there are no obstacles. Because throughout it all, I just B." B Whisper: And coming soon, "Demon" by Dave.
Guest Big Daddy V1 Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 On the back they shoulda replaced "Destiny" with "Sensible" Neither are as good as RVD's latest. And look for this to be on RD's someone bought this in about 5 years. I'm looking forward to seeing that next week

Adam Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 Oh god, you've done it again Rudo. B has got to B the idea of the month...
SuperJerk Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 Austin Powers says: "Oh B-hav... Forget it, I haven't been funny since the first 20 minutes of my second movie. God, Cat In The Hat sucked. May-B I should make another Wayne's World movie..."
Promoter Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 In contrast, Randy Orton looks like a Power Plant reject who hit a vending machine for his tats That would be funny if Ric Flair responded to Orton with this. To me at least.
RavishingRickRudo Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I will note that Dave Batista is coming TO TORONTO for an autograph signing sometime this month.

To me at least. If Orton doesn't end up living up to WWE's expectations, it would be even funnier if Randy became Flair's new Buff Bagwell.
