I noticed him fishing for something before the debate anyway.

I EXPECT Dems to cheat, as a general rule. This is nothing shocking. Hell, when Bush wins by 5 points, I expect the Dems to file suits in court regardless.

However, it does explain Kerry's performance nicely. Too bad his cheat sheet didn't include actually useful information or moderately effective policies.

I think I may have seen a tranquilizer dart in the left side of Bush's neck as well...

Damn that Kurt Angle.

seems like a pretty lame excuse. just accept it, regroup, and come out stronger in the next debate.

Bush, nor the Republicans, have made a stink about this.

If that debate was a "win" for Kerry, I'd hate to see a loss.

..."Pretty pictures = win"

Kerry replaced both himself and the president with robots, and made his robot do a better job.

Why would he need to replace HIMSELF with a robot? Wouldn't it be more like exchanging one for another?

I can just hear it now:

'I-WON, I-WON, LET'S-PAR-TEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Wouldn't I have to have something to be bitter about?

The overrating of Kerry's performance is quite amusing in all honesty..................

Overrating? A majority of America has agreed that John Kerry won the debate at best, drew the President on his own big issue at worse....this is the decision of the country, just because your guy didn't win doesnt mean that anything was 'overrated'.

I dont even see the Bush camp refuting these results too much...

But of course, in greatone's esteemed opinion, the same American majority speaking here is probably the same group that got over 9-11 on September 12th ;)

So is your attempt to sell Bush as anything other than the loser of the debate.

Bush lost. He got his ass kicked, and now the Gallup polls reflect a shift in public opinion. You were wrong, I was right, thank you, come again.

Kerry's performance is not overrated. He defeated Bush utterly. That's what happened and that's what people are saying.

Yes because a point or two constitutes an ass-kicking. Uh huh...................

If he had 'defeated Bush utterly', he wouldn't have set himself up for mockery down the road (global test, bilateral talks, Iran nuclear exchange).

So, come again...................

Watching Bush "debate" brings me back to junior high and high school. Remember those oral reports? There was always at least one slacker who just copied an encyclopedia entry or a web site onto some note cards and went up there with zero prep. No eye contact, leaning on the podium, stuttering and stammering through the whole thing, clearly no idea what he is reading. I've got a suggestion for "President" Bush: if you're going to answer every question with prepared statements that your flunkies wrote for you, at least make sure that you understand what the hell you are reading. Fucking retard.
