snuffbox 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2004 Blame the economy on 9/11 - damn he' smart. 9-11 did have some negative effect on the economy...but using it as an excuse is not a particularly good idea...

Guest MikeSC Report post Posted October 6, 2004 He simply told you where to go for a lengthy discussion of all of the problems. You know --- that factcheck.org site. If given a question about Halliburton, he'd be able to respond. -=Mike He had 30 seconds to tell me his claims about Halliburton. Instead of using that 30 seconds the best way he could, he chose to harp on the fact that this was a damned Democratic smokescreen - then directed me to go to factcheck.com, which is a false address anyway. Not exactly too strong there. 30 seconds? As he said, it'll take more than 30 seconds to respond to ALL of the baseless charges. And, heaven forbid he mistakes .com for .org. -=Mike

snuffbox 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2004 The large amount of Americans harmed by Bush's policies will disagree with Cheney's inflated job/education claims... But his explanations remain eloquently stated.

NYU 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2004 Edwards is copying Kerry's bitchiness. Let's not make a mistake here. When Cheney's question is about talking about the Israeli conflict - and he then decides to tackle the Halliburton claims instead - and then lodges into a personal attack on Edwards' record without any coaxing whatsoever - it looks to me that Cheney was much more harsh on the bitchiness than Edwards was. Edwards is only returning the favor in order to survive.

snuffbox 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2004 I would have liked to see Edwards give a vivid explanation of the difference between factory/manufacturing jobs(those lost en masse overseas) vs. dept store/wal mart jobs (those that have been largely created). Guest MikeSC Report post Posted October 6, 2004 Man, it's a real shame that the numbers don't come even close to adding up. Jesus, Cheney is owning him in domestic policy as well. This is a borderline epic bitch-slapping. -=Mike ...And Edwards will not be able to back up the 600 tax cuts for Kerry.
