It's not like he was lighting it up prior to his injury. "Potential" doesn't mean squat if it's not realized, just ask Brian Bosworth. Miami wouldn't be any better right now if their IR guys were playing. Cleveland has 2 major contributers, 2 quality role players and 2 backup o-line men on IR. The backup oline men may not seem like a big deal, but Cleveland needs depth there. I'm just glad to see some teams keeping up with Cleveland on injuries to major contributers. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 7, 2004 Add Packers backup QB Doug Pederson to the list! Thank god! The Giants injured him on one snap, and this puts Craig Nall as the #2 quarterback. From what I've seen of Nall, I'd be A LOT more relieved to see Nall step in the game than Pederson. I think the guy has a shitload of potential, and could turn out to be a Tom Brady-esque story if Favre (*knocks on wood*) ever does go down.
