Guest TheEdge Report post Posted October 6, 2004 I'm a huge fan of his horror films, especially "Inferno", "Tenebre" and "Suspiria". I think "Inferno" and "Suspiria" are probably the closest that anyone has ever come to capturing a nightmare on film. I also enjoyed "Deep Red" and "Phenomena", just not as much as the above three. Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted October 6, 2004 Deep Red > you Susperia is the shit. Anyman who helped George Romero produce "Dawn of the Dead", is a deeply respected person in my eyes. Argento is one of the greatest horror minds of all time and his films always bring an auroa(sp?) of suspense and his violent scenes are brutal.......yet, beautiful. They looked at us like we'd asked them to eat their young. I don't understand why Suspiria is so highly rated. It seemed just like an average horror flick to me. I also saw Trauma, which was pretty boring, and Phantom of the Opera, which was a steaming pile o' shite and easily the worst Phantom movie ever (which is REALLY saying something).
