- Apparently TNA is very close to moving Impact to Saturday nights on FSN.

- There’s a lot of talk going on about bringing in DDP with The Outsiders, however nothing is confirmed right now.

- TNA will be holding a weekend long festival in downtown Orlando up until the Sunday night Victory Road PPV. They are expecting to draw up to 10,000 fans. Apparently, it is looking as if TNA will become a major part of the Orlando local scene.

- Even though Vince Russo made it seem like nothing in wrestling bothered him, it was no secret that he was very frustrated with his lack of input to the booking in TNA. Dutch Mantel and Vince Russo have two very different styles of booking, and Russo was vocal about not having as much control as he wanted. Russo said he wouldn’t talk publicly about the situation right now, out of respect to Jeff Jarrett, who is going through a rough time under the pressure of running the company, and his wife going through another battle with cancer.

10,000 fans! Can Universal hold that many people??

Wrong as usual, Dynamite Kido. If 10000 fans come to Total Nonstop Interaction (as they are calling it) they will all expect to see the PPV live, since a ticket is included in the price. To think a bunch will travel cross-country just get a couple autographs is nuts.

How the fuck am I wrong as usual? I am pretty sure I am not the fountain of misinformation around here.............considering you post in the TNA folder so much, I'd love to hear your apparently more educated opinion...........

I really don't think I'm wrong........unless they are running another building.

I mean you're usually wrong in that you have silly opinions about everything under the sun.

Just because I don't post in the TNA folder as much as you do doesn't make my opinion less important than yours. Stop being a retard, c'mon now.

I will eat my hat if it turns out TNA meant having 10000 fans just COMING to Total Nonstop Interaction and not necessarily seeing the PPV live. If they gave that 10000 number it's for people they want at the PPV. Whether or not it's in the same building I don't know, but they made it very clear on Impact that the price for Total Nonstop Interaction includes a Victory Road ticket, so I'm pretty sure they're not counting on people just showing up for a Q&A (which you most likely will be needing a pass to get into anyway). So in conclusion, if the only package they're offering us up to Total Nonstop Interaction INCLUDES A TICKET TO VICTORY ROAD, you better believe it the way I said it.

They expect 10,000 fans?

ECW in their prime couldn't pull in 10,000 fans to a show. Sometimes the WWE can barely pull in 10,000 fans. Can the arena they are going to HOLD 10,000 fans?

Isn't that number a little high?

How much are the tickets ?

What he said.

And moving Impact to Saturday would be great because I could actually get to see it now.

If they don't mean 10,000 for the entire week, they are going to be sorely disappointed.

Side Note: Why does Banders Kennany now have a misspelled curse word in his signature?

The tickets to the entire weekend event are 49 dollars. A Ticket to the PPV only if you buy on Sunday is 59 dollars.

I really don't see how they could hold 10,000 people at the hotel they are holding the Q&A and meet and greet. But I will be there, so I guess we have to wait and see.

Yeah, my opinions ARE SO SILLY!?!?!?!

I didn't say my opinions mean more than yours. It's just with me posting in the TNA folder for sometime here, people know I pay attention to the product and have a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about. You never post here so nobody really even knows if you watch the product. I'm just saying......people here KNOW that I follow the product. Also, don't call me a retard.....that's flame baiting. Take it to HD if you think I'm so fucking retarded. Plus, answer the question I asked of you. THEY COULDN'T FIT 10,000 IN THE BUILDING THEY HAVE. Plus, they WON'T draw 10,000 either.....................

If they draw 3000 PAYING customers to the PPV, it should be considered a raging success.

Considering that Meltzer usually puts the attendance for the Orlando shows at about 750, I really doubt they would be able to fit more than 1,500 in there realistically.

I was assuming they would change veniew.

Considering that I don't think it's been announced where it's at......but they'll draw 10,000.................

Considering they are at Universal, they should just do it in front of a Blue Screen and superimpose 10,000 rabid fans.

The venue is the Impact Zone, Soundstage 21 for Victory Road. Maybe they will be setting up a different stage to fit more people. Maybe the wrestlingobserver is wrong and off by a zero and they are expecting 1,000.

They HAD to be off. There is honestly no way that they would be able to sell 10,000 for this show. Especially considering all the papering they do to their shows now. Hell, if they have trouble getting 10,000 PPV orders then how are they expecting 10,000 to show up in person?

I think they'll draw a few hundred, and a few thousand buys. But 10,000 is bullshit. RAW can't draw 10,000, and TNA can't lick RAW's boots.

And I do think it's over the weekend they would expect so many, but I doubt they'll get near that.

I think something may have been misquoted here. I was looking at this past weeks Observer and I found this part.....

"The 9/28 tapings were considered a big success, because after sparse crowds in recent weeks, they turned people away and it was a far hotter crowd than had been there.  It was all due to Russ Rollins making his debut.  The match was planned to be a dark match, bu they will likely edit it into Xplosion (which airs on Sunshine Network) to build for a 10/9 festival in Orlando which will include Jonny Fairplay wrestling women and a match with Jeff Jarrett & Johnny B. Badd, managed by Jimmy Hart, vs. Rollins & Dusty Rhodes.  Rollins was cut legit in the back of his head from the guitar shot from Badd, who was his original trainer.  The festival is expected to attract 5,000 to 10,000 fans in downtown Orlando, so the idea is to be involved to make TNA a part of the Orlando scene."

So I guess that is where the 10,000 number came from. Apparently it's not TNA drawing the fans......it's just part of a local festival.

It's still very unclear to my overly imaginative mind who will be the outsiders facing since they're coming in as a stable.

I'm guessing Hardy will be out of the picture, Monty brown possibly working a program ... JJ can't take it all upon himself now can't he fellas?

Meltz also mentions in the Observer that they could do a possible TNA vs. ExWCW guys feud. It could be a Hall/Nash/DDP team vs. 3 TNA guys(most likely Jarrett + 2 others)..............

I agree it is very unclear. They expect 10,000 but in order for people to come they have to pay 49 dollars for the package. Nowhere on the website does it mention any other way to attend the saturday event without buying a ticket to the PPV on Sunday. They better get their act together.

hmm so Pac is still rehabing then I guess.

That's my whole concern, you got 3 big names coming in to a promotion which holds the most talented workers in the X-division or in the back doing interferences. It feels as if TNA will be out classed by DDP/Hall/Nash unless DDP joins JJ to somehow even things out.

I don't want to seem like I dont want TNA to push guys like Raven, Abyss and Killings into the main picture I just have doubts about Jeff letting them share the spot light against/with Nash and Hall.

Guess I'll have to wait and see, I'm interested nonetheless.

Well, at least they're gonna use some FSN resources and promote the show, which is great news.

Still don't get the whole minis thing though...

1. Do we really need more mini's? Hasn't that been proven as boring wrestlecrap?

2. Good thing they're promoting the show on BDSSP, but do that many people really watch that show? I mean, it used to be good, but the last few episodes I've seen where horrible. Comedians and actors talking sports is not that watchable.

3. Turning Point? Wow.

4. I like Monty Brown, but the mini-sites are a little much.

5. Empire Saint sounds like Wrestlecrap. Poor Simon Diamond.

---------

Wow, I'm negative today.

Empire Saint couldn't be a more balant spin off Boondock Saints if it tried. Could be interesting, but it could be very very bad.

Turning point makes me think that is when they give the belt to either Brown or Raven you would hope.

Also, BDSSP is still the top rated program on FSN so the fact they plan to devote the entire shows to TNA is nothing but a positive. Course, a better positive would be TNA not having to pay to air the show and it being two hours long.

TNA needs to find a way to get a slot where they make money from airing their show, not hoping it increases PPV revenue alone. That is just a death sentence. They need to make money off the show AND PPVs.

If they can't do both, I don't care what they produce in terms of angles. They will be dead.

1) NOTHING says bush league like mini luchas. And the worst part is that Jarrett seems obsessed with them. He brings them in for all of TNA's big shows, and honestly, it just makes the whole company look stupid.

2) Jarrett's a mark for himself, so I'm pretty confident that bringing in DDP, Nash, and Hall is just so he can play with the big boys for a while. He's tired of squashing no-namers, so he wants to book himself over big names now. The thing that gets me is that he announced on Impact that Hall and Nash would be at Victory Road, but not on the same side. Then, he goes on to basically specify that Hall will be "on my side", and Nash will be "on the other side". Its just completely foolish to outright tell the fans who the good guy is and who the bad guy is. Southern booking for ya.
