Downhome Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 This CCC could be the new Honky Tonk Man. The most fucking annoying, worthless, non talented champion in a long while. Well if that's what they plan to do to make him an over heel, it's already worked on me.
JoeDirt Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Kayfabe-wise, what good does it do to work over Rey's shoulder? It's not like ANY of his moves use it. As said above...and also..it makes it hurt. Simple as that, it's hard to do anything when a part of you is hurt. Most 'noticeable' I guess would be the worse...is that it'd be harder to kick out., But why not just work over the knee, and take away 99% of his offense?

Downhome Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 So Downhome...you like Carlito, then? Go to hell.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 I think Trish should have a ultra long reign for Lita to finally return to kick Trish's ass around WM time.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Alex English should be eliminated first. He looks like Norman Smiley and Ranger Ross's love child.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 So when you get downgraded from World Champ to mid-carder as Eddie has...do you also have to get rid of your cool looking Scarface shirt for that ugly red "Diamond" one?
Downhome Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Welcome to WCW Saturday Night! Our main event will be Eddy Guerrero vs. Horshu w/ Jimmy Hart!!! 1-900-909-9900 1-900-909-9900 1-900-909-9900
JoeDirt Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Not into the STEEL ring steps! THOSE MONSTERS!!!!!
ChrisMWaters Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 ...I couldn't imagine Eddie Guerrero bald. That just seems very wrong.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 The Haircut Foundation! Damn them to hell!
JoeDirt Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 The Haircut Foundation! Damn them to hell!
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Big Show just did Taker's "running fast" spots just as quickly so no more arguing about Taker's "workrate".
Guest El Satanico Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 That was stupid when you consider the small amount of hair eddy has it's not like his mullet was grown out.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 That was stupid when you consider the small amount of hair eddy has it's not like his mullet was grown out. Kurt's decree is that no one he faces from now on will have hair longer than his.
Silence Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Kurt's decree is that no one he faces from now on will have hair longer than his. The only way that'll happen is if anyone Kurt feuds with gets their head decapitated, but then they might die from that.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Kurt's decree is that no one he faces from now on will have hair longer than his. The only way that'll happen is if anyone Kurt feuds with gets their head decapitated, but then they might die from that. Not really. Hair can be equal length to his. Just not LONGER.
The Amazing Rando Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 You know, this will be good until Kurt starts to think people are seeing the other bald guys and thinking they are Kurt. It'll be reverse HHH syndrome. He'll start demanding everyone grows their hair out, even Orlando Jordan. "No, Jordan you look WAY too much like me. Shit, put some medals on you and we would be TWINS! Now put this blonde wig on and DANCE!"
Guest wolverine1007 Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 I was just glad that Kurt Angle thought safety first, and didn't run with the scissors. The PTC would have had a field day with that one.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Kenzo Suzuki is my new hero. Him gyrating and dancing while singing "Living in America" was pretty damn funny. And how is Rene still walking after that German? And then there is Carlito... I like the guy. He's not the greatest wrestler of all, but at least he knows what he's doing in there. I think he'll be a solid U.S. Champio, if nothing else. And for me... that's cool.
AndrewTS Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 Kurt's decree is that no one he faces from now on will have hair longer than his. Plus you leave out the option of scalping.
The Dames Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I can't help but mark out for Carlito. Plus, his wrestling during the match tonight wasn't too shabby. He hasn't even established a finisher yet, so he'll probably go through a few matches and try various things. Let's see where he'll be in about 3 months or so. The character so far, is very charismatic and IS GETTING HEAT right now, so they'd better run with it. Dames
Use Your Illusion Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Carlito's been working his sorry ass off. Being in the ring for lengthy matches with the likes of Rey Mysterio can only do him good and see him improve as well. There was zero follow up on the Booker thing this week, which disappointed me. I wouldn't mind seeing Booker turn face and fight JBL or Angle, as some fresh matches right now is what SD! really needs. Still, a really fun show that blew RAW's sorry ass out of the water. UYI
Use Your Illusion Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Eh, lame attempt to get heat stealing Bret's line. If he's going to steal lines, he might as well do it from someone who could cut a great heel promo, like Bret Hart.
The Dames Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 I can really see them dropping the ball on Kidman's awesome character. Finally, the guys drawing some heat and his turn was a slow burn, which has worked well since they pulled the trigger. He's taken out three guys with the Shooting Star Press, nailing each man with the move in a specific part of the body. While Chavo's KO was unintentional, it allowed Kidman to realize the power of the move and since he now apparantly has accuracy with it, its getting a great push and its now an instant KO in a match. Kidman has an old school heel vibe to him and what's great about this is that since the SSP is something that he can do and only very few can emulate, he'll always have it in his disposal, which makes him dangerous. They'll fuck it up though. They always do. Dames
The Mandarin Posted October 17, 2004 Author Report Posted October 17, 2004 Since he's getting over they're going to turn him face and water him down by only injuring people on the second Tuesday of months that end in "Y".
Guest Phenom Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Since he's getting over they're going to turn him face and water him down by only injuring people on the second Tuesday of months that end in "Y". So you'd better look out on January 11th, 2005, because Kidman's going to beat the shit out of you!
Silence Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 BODIES are decapitated. Heads are disembodied or severed. Plus you leave out the option of scalping. My mistake. Scalping might work instead of Kurt Angle pulling a Mortal Kombat on Eddie by severing his head.
Use Your Illusion Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 No, I think severing Eddie's head is a much more reasonable alternative.
