LucharesuFan619 Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 SCOTT HALL AND KEVIN NASH ARE COMING TO VICTORY ROAD - BUT WITH DIFFERENT AGENDAS? NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett dropped a bombshell on Friday’s Impact, announcing that both Scott Hall and Kevin Nash – known as The Outsiders – will be coming to Victory Road on Sunday, November 7 live on Pay-Per-View! HOWEVER – Jarrett’s comments are already causing controversy, as he claimed Scott Hall will be “on his side” at the Pay-Per-View. Below is what the World Heavyweight Champion said on Impact: "The good news is that Scott Hall is on MY side...and Nash, the bad news is on you. You want to come in on the other side? Let me give you a little advice - TNA is MY world! Welcome to Planet Jarrett! Kevin Nash - I've given you a global warning!" The Outsiders have remained two of the most dominating and controversial superstars in wrestling in the last decade. Together, Hall and Nash have been unstoppable as well as inseparable – leaving many to question Jarrett’s statements. The legendary Larry Zbyszko had this to say later in the broadcast about the champion's comments - "If Jarrett's mouth is moving, he's probably telling a lie." If Jarrett’s comments are true, it appears Scott Hall and Kevin Nash may be coming to Victory Road with different agendas! We hope to have more on this developing situation on Friday’s Impact on Fox Sports Net. CREDIT: TNAWrestling.com
UZI Suicide Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 that = a new nWo-like faction, with Jarrett as a really, really poor excuse for Hogan.
Exslade ZX Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Kind of odd...seeing as how last time Hall was in TNA him and Jarett basically wanted to kill each other. That's some WWE continuity right there.
Guest TDinDC1112 Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 I like Hall, but Nash is death.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Hell I have no complaints about this at all..................just as long as Hall is "unprofessional" and Nash's leg falls off.
Copper Feel Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 bold prediction: scott hall arrives drunk and kevin nash tears his quad.
Guest Shoes Head Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Bold Prediction: Nash gets on booking committee by March 2005.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Bold Prediction: no one cares.
Magus Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 At this point, I'm all for both Hall and Nash coming in to shake up the politics. At least we'll have some REAL big names around instead of Jarrett trying to convince us that he's on that level.
Zack Malibu Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Too bad they're big names that can't work worth a damn. For some reason, all I see happening is Jarrett retaining the title, and both Outsiders attack him, leaving him to be the loner face that none of the other babyfaces want to help/trust while The Outsiders take over the company.
Guest Coffey Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 I'm still not giving up hope on Scott Hall's working ability. He's always been above average, even when drunk. Besides, I'm sure by now he realizes what must be done. He has to get paid.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 I'm not happy to see them here but hopefully this finally gives the company some kind of direction. And hopefully DDP follows. At least he can still work.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Here's what happens. Hall and Nash come in, they go over on TNA guys..........then quit. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! They helped TNA soooooo much. Just remember who said it here first.......

Guest whitemilesdavis Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Since it's official, I guess I'll try to see the bright side... I think they could be helpful if they spear-headed an anti-Jarrett group. Not with them as the main workers in their group, but giving somebody "the rub", and standing in his corner as he takes on Jarrett. The only active guy I could see in that position would be Truth. DDP would be nice to see as a free-agent. However, Hall and Nash have never given anyone outside their clique the rub. They won't start now.
Guest OSIcon Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Based on history and the wording of the article, I expected a "swerve" of some sorts. I'd be very surprised if it goes down exactly the way they have it outlined right now (Hall on Jarrett's side and Nash against them). There are three other options: 1. Nash ends up being on Jarrett's side and they either both turn on Hall or Hall simply takes the other side. 2. Nash joins up on Jarrett's side anyway (making Jarrett, Hall, and Nash a group). 3. Nash and Hall both turn on Jarrett and continue on as faces. If I had to go with a guess, it would be option three. That choices seems to be in line with TNA's general logic. It gives Jarrett a feud with their "biggest names". It keeps Jarrett strong as the top heel. It also would probably fit TNA's thinking that Hall and Nash are such big stars that they would never possibly be booed, so might as well make them faces. Of course, I also think it is irrelevant since I can't see Hall and Nash hanging around on a full time basis.
Guest whitemilesdavis Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 3. Nash and Hall both turn on Jarrett and continue on as faces. Out of those options, this is the only one I see working at all. However, I see no reason for them to allign with Hardy. Do you think there is a chance that they will leave both guys laying at the end of VR?

Do you think there is a chance that they will leave both guys laying at the end of VR? That's probably what's exactly going to happen. They will have the heel(guys like Jarrett), the face(people like Hardy) and the "cool" tweeners(Hall and Nash).
Guest GreatOne Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 It's the return of NWO 2000! Soon to accompanied by the Harris' brothers as 'extra muscle'
Guest Loss Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Because nothing is cooler than 45-year old Kevin Nash and his shorter, more contemporary hairstyle.
Guest whitemilesdavis Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 The only thing I can think of is a falling down drunk, out of shape Scott Hall.
Guest tnamark Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 Hall and Nash aren't cool anymore, they just look old. I forget where I saw the picture but it was from earlier this year and Nash and Hall both had their hair died blond. Nash was also on the "Best Damn Sports Show Period" and looked like he did in his WCW Oz days. They looked like 2 old guys trying to be cool in the picture that I saw.
Guest Coffey Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 There's at least one reason why I want Scott Hall back:
Jobber of the Week Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 There's at least one reason why I want Scott Hall back: Then they should just give that move to somebody else to satisfy you and spare us Hall/Nash. I thought Hall was doing better controlling his habit in TNA, though, but they couldn't afford him. Was that the case, or did he go back to the bottle? I figured without Steve Austin pouring beer on him night after night that perhaps he can do better.
Guest Coffey Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 It's not the same when someone else does it. Just like Randy Orton doing the RKO. It's shitty.
Guest Phenom Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 There's at least one reason why I want Scott Hall back: Then they should just give that move to somebody else to satisfy you and spare us Hall/Nash. *ahem*
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 But Mordecai was WrestleCrap and only got to use the move on a few shows.
Guest tnamark Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 If Hall looks like he does here, he'll be just an old man trying to be cool in TNA. Hot or not, lol..... http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=62428
