JasonX Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 Anyone watching ABC's "Desperate Housewives"? Great show and one which stars one of my favorite Melrose Place Alumni Marcia Cross as well as Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman as a group of suburban housewives dealing with a neighbor's suicide and other family crisises.
Dangerous A Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 It's ok. I caught this last sunday's episode. Nothing to write home about. They should name it what ABC intends for the show to be- The MILF Hour.
starvenger Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 Never around on Sundays to watch it, unfortunately, but I caught a Saturday repeat once. Having Marcia Cross play a "perfect" wife is great, especially if you remember her from Melrose Place...
Dr. Tom Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 I caught this past week's episode, the first I've seen. I liked some of the dark humor in it. The show's not great, but as long as it keeps doing what it does, it should remain decent and watchable. And I'd still stick it to Teri Hatcher...
smh810 Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 I caught the second and third episodes and I am officially an absolute mark for this show. Forget Teri Hatcher, (even though she's good and still doable) I'm all about Eva Longoria screwing the gardener but beyond that I really like Marcia Cross's character, she is such an evil bitch and I love it. "Rex cries after he ejaculates" made me howl for five minutes straight. The only person I'm not really feelin yet is Felecity Huffman but maybe that will come eventually.
Guest El Satanico Posted October 19, 2004 Report Posted October 19, 2004 I completely forgot to watch it this past Sunday, but I like the show. I also like Boston Legal, which is on after this show.
Guest Evolution Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I'm a faithful viewer of the show, and I like all of the Housewives. Bree's line about Rex had me laughing for a long time as well. Both DH and Lost are my two favorite shows. Makes me wonder what ABC will do when Alias comes back to take their timeslot.
BlackFlagg Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 meant to check it out but kept fergettin...in the process of getting the first 3 eps right now. Looks interesting...plus I always had a thing for Marcia Cross

Rumor has it that the ratings have been so well with Desperate Housewives that ABC is considering moving Alias to Wednesday nights right after Lost. I don't know how true this will hold up but I read this on E-Online.
Damaramu Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 Stupid mystery! Why does every new show have to have a mystery that makes me not want the show to end until it is revealed! Damn you ABC.
Crimson Platypus Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I'm watching, and I'm doing so for two reasons only: Eva. Longoria.

Dr. Tom Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I'm watching, and I'm doing so for two reasons only: Eva. Longoria. Yeah, she's quite a saucy one, too.
BlackFlagg Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 Just finished watching the first 3 episodes and yeah, me=hooked....it also made me realize that Fox needs to release Melrose Place on DVD now! But anyway, the fact they got the guy that plays Ted on Scrubs to play the Marriage Counselor=GOLD. and yeah Eva Longoria is quite ummm... yeah the "Rex cries after he ejaculates" line had me LMAO for a good five minutes straight, heh
Slayer Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 I watched the first episode with my g/f because she was intrigued by it and I was curious (especially with Hatcher, Cross and Longoria involved) and we enjoyed it enough to watch the second episode. I missed the third one because of the ALCS though.
