I love the fact that mostly Jam Bands play on New Years.

Of course, cause nobody gives a shit if they play for four hours straight cause most of the crowd is blazed out of their head anyway.

Also, I'd love to see Moe, Flaming Lips/Wilco, or Keller Williams...but would never be able to get to any of them (living in Western Maryland as I do)

I dont know too many radio bands that can play for several hours in a party atmosphere...a few can, but the 'jam bands' tend to fit the bill perfectly.

Too bad theres no word of Modest Mouse, The Dead, Trey Anastasio, Tool, Damien Rice, U2, Beck, or Mike Patton doing some sort of NYE show...

Nothing in Los Angeles? if not, I guess I'm S.O.L. There has to be something, though...

Crystal Method and Paul Oakenfield, if you're into that kind of stuff. The Doors of the 21st Century and Al Green are both in Anaheim. Joe Satriani in Ventura. Thought there would be bigger acts in your neck of the woods.

The Doors are one of my 2 favorite bands ever, and Anaheim's closer than LA. if tickets are still on sale and don't go for an ungodly amount of dinero (which they probably will), I'm there.

If you count the Doors as one of your favorite bands ever...why do you have any interest in seeing this 21st Century bullshit?
