Guest Dynamite Kido Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 I thought that this should be in the Toys folder...........but I figured more people would be interested in this one. Move it if necessessary. Jeff Jarrett Raven Abyss AJ Styles
Just call me Dan Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Not bad looking. The real scan technology helps these look better than the WCW ToyBiz line, but when you look at the uniformity of Jakks' line, this pales in comparison. Too many joints and "actions", and who knows what kind of Fucked up scale TB used for this line.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 I'm a huge mark for Toy Biz wrestling figures. WWE's stiff-ass figures suck and are overpriced, IMO. I'll definately get these.
the max Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Raven has now been manufactured by WWE, WCW, ECW, and now NWA. That has to be a first.
TheBigSwigg Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 SURPRISE!!!! Jeff Jarrett comes with the world title!!!
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 He's the World Champion...who's it going to come with? Shark Boy and D-Ray 2058?
TheBigSwigg Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 As TNA becomes more and more popular and familiar with wrestling fans the demand for merchandise arises. The good folks at Toybiz have answered the challenge of TNA's action figure license with great expectations and faith in the TNA brand. As some of you already know, Toybiz was the last action figure company to produce WCW figures. TNA series 1 features 6 inch fully articulated figures, 'Laser Scan' heads (ala Jakks 'Real Scan) and each figures comes with it's own particular 'Action' & Accessories. The lineup for TNA series 1 features Jeff Jarret with NWA World Heavyweight Belt, Guitar & Guitar Smashing Action, Raven with Folding Chair & Uppercut Punching Action, AJ Styles with Ladder & Roundhouse Kick Action, and Abyss with Chain & Crunching Punch Action. Also from Toybiz will be the first TNA Playset. This playset will feature the same four TNA superstar figures but in 3 inch form. The playset itself is actually a toy replica of the NWA World Heavyweight Belt in which it's buckle opens up to reveal the wrestling ring for the 3 inch figures! What's more is that the belt can also be used as a carry case for up to six of the 3 inch figures! Images of this set should be available soon so keep your eye out right here on WF for those! wrestlingfigs.com ------------------------------------ Decent looking figures, but there is too much articulation. That and figures that come with "Action" usually break really easily. He's the World Champion...who's it going to come with? Shark Boy and D-Ray 2058? You obviously missed the biting sarcasm in my post.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 Maybe they can out a Kevin Nash figure, complete with detachable quads.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 Well, they're not horrible. I most likely will end up buying AJ, at least.
Guest LooneyTune Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 Maybe they can out a Kevin Nash figure, complete with detachable quads. A good joke would be a little sign that attaches to the body that says "Talent". You can give or remove someones talent by simply putting it on or taking it off. Smell the demand! And I'm not good with sarcasm...I'm just shocked that we didn't get a Killings figure instead of Abyss.

UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 I like how Abyss's arms are the same size as AJ Styles' arms.
Precious Roy Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 I hope that all of you who buy these figures will instantly job Jarrett to your HHH action figure.
