bob_barron Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 It doesn't sound like it was a long match at all. TNA also should've put the woman's match on after AJ to calm the crowd down
JoeDirt Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Keller gave Petey vs. AJ *** and timed it at 9:49. Now THAT'S where the time devoted to the minis and the 8-man tag should have gone.
bob_barron Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Less then 10 minutes for AJ v. Petey??????? Â TNA does it again
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 I'm watching the show and I'm really sleepy. Â It doesn't help that the main event is between two guys who suck and will have run-ins by two guys who suck.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Less then 10 minutes for AJ v. Petey??????? TNA does it again Triple J needs his 25 minutes or so to showcase his ***** affair with the junkie.
Myxamatosis Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Primetime is either hurt or blown up. The crowd is turning on the match.
Myxamatosis Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 AMW wins the match, but XXX attacks afterwards by handcuffing AMW's hands together and hitting Storm with a chair. Â Man, that match was going well until Daniels was eliminated.
Guest Donners Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Keller gave it -* I think there's only so much blame that can go on the promotion for that - it sounds like some of the workers really screwed up.
JoeDirt Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Keller gave it negative one star. And he's usually GENEROUS with stars. Â That is a BIG disappointment.
Myxamatosis Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 And to cap it off, here comes Dusty. Damn, I was pumped for the show.
bob_barron Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Keller gave it -* I think there's only so much blame that can go on the promotion for that - it sounds like some of the workers really screwed up. Well they should've given AJ v. Petey more time regardless. Â This show sounds like a disaster for TNA.
JoeDirt Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 AMW vs. XXX in a last man standing match. How hard can it be to NOT fuck that up? We just need a crazy brawl around the building, some blood, some chair and table spots...how could it have been THAT bad?
Guest Donners Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Don't know about a disaster. Three strong matches is still better than most WWE Pay-Per-Views this year, though admittedly TNA has more to prove.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 How long do you think Jarrett and Hardy will get ? I'm going with 20 minutes.
JoeDirt Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 How long do you think Jarrett and Hardy will get ? I'm going with 20 minutes. Probably a bit less...they need some time at the end for their angle shit to go down.
iliketurtles Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 I'm not getting the show, but where ist he show taking place and in what arena?
JoeDirt Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 I'm not getting the show, but where ist he show taking place and in what arena? Orlando, in the Impact Zone.
Myxamatosis Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Keller gave it -* I think there's only so much blame that can go on the promotion for that - it sounds like some of the workers really screwed up. The match shouldn't of been bogged down to a formula-style tag match. An all out brawl would've suited the issue between the two teams better. Â They started out very fast-paced and hit some decent double team moves. But some miscommunication, plus the crowd losing interest, led to a horrible finish with Primietime being too exhausted to even hit his finishing move. Â Damn, negative stars?
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 How long do you think Jarrett and Hardy will get ? I'm going with 20 minutes. Probably a bit less...they need some time at the end for their angle shit to go down. I was including time for the angle. Which will probably see Hardy relegated to the background while Jarrett stands center stage, with Hall and Nash behind him.
Guest Donners Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 I think Keller's getting into one of his "moods". At seemingly random times he goes extremely critical about some things he wouldn't mention at other times, and hands out overly harsh match ratings.

Probably a bit less...they need some time at the end for their angle shit to go down. I was including time for the angle. Twisted Intestine Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 IF the Jeff match doesn't blow, this PPV sounds decent.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Speaking of Keller, has anyone seen his newest picture in the Torch ? He looks like a radiation victim or something.
Myxamatosis Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 IF the Jeff match doesn't blow, this PPV sounds decent. Big if there. Â When was the last great Jeff Hardy match that didn't involve Edge, Christian or The Dudleys?
Corey_Lazarus Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Jeff Hardy's only great matches were at No Mercy '99 and WrestleMania 16. IMO, of course. Â Sorry...but TLC and TLC2 sucked, becuase they just repeated spots they did at the Triple Ladder match from WM16.
bob_barron Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Don't know about a disaster. Three strong matches is still better than most WWE Pay-Per-Views this year, though admittedly TNA has more to prove. WWE has a built in fanbase that nets them 100,000 fanbase regardless. Â TNA doesn't. Â And TLC 1 and 2 weren't rip-offs of the WM 2000 match. They're much better, they added newer cooler spots and cut out all the dead space
haws bah gawd Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Jeff Hardy's only great matches were at No Mercy '99 and WrestleMania 16. IMO, of course. I remember Jeff Hardy being carried to a ***+ match against Jericho on a late January/early February 2003 match on RAW. That was a fantastic match.
Myxamatosis Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 Well, from what I'm watching, Hardy has blown two spots in a row. This match has been spot after spot and most of them were blown.
