Fuzzy Dunlop Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 This ends after the Sunday night games so we can get to Monday-Sunday weeks rather than Tuesday-Monday which make no sense. Now can somebody tell me how much longer the NBALP free preview lasts?
Gert T Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 Tonight is the last night. Then I will be calling Time Warner.
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 Anyone catch the Pistons/Clippers game last night? It was a double OT thriller that went to like 1:30 or 2 AM on the east coast. Of course it really never should have gotten that far, but since the Pistons got the win, I'm happy to have enjoyed an edge of the seat thriller so early in the season. Detroit needs Larry Brown back though, they are good but sloppy. They need someone who will bitch a player out to hell when he makes a bad decision (like Chauncy jacking up a three before putting anything into motion, in the last minute of regulation).
alfdogg Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 4-0 BABY Pacers win in Minnesota 102-101, big games from Fred Jones and Scot Pollard. However, Tinsley should have been pulled after the first turnover in the last minute and a half, and not been left in long enough to commit another one, along with missing two layups AND losing the rebound on the last play. Some $40 million man, you piece of shit.
razazteca Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Ron Artest is taking two games off to make a rap album!
Guest Leena Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 My Clippers suck. I only watched them get slaughtered in the 1st half by the Blazers so far. Jaric as starting PG... sigh. Was fun watching Stoudamire school him every possession. And Ratliff had about 20 blocks. Damn Clips.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 My Clippers suck. I only watched them get slaughtered in the 1st half by the Blazers so far. Jaric as starting PG... sigh. Was fun watching Stoudamire school him every possession. And Ratliff had about 20 blocks. Damn Clips. Well I guess you need to watch My Clippers play more They are beating Indiana by 29 in the third quarter right now Even though they are 2-2 they should be 3-1 since they had Detroit beat three times but made stupid mistakes that cost them the game at the end
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 ^ psh. it was stupid mistakes by Detroit in the end of teh regulation that sent the game into OT in the first place. :-P regardless though, the Clippers were pretty good, I'll give em that. Speaking of INdiana, what exactly is the deal with Artest? I've tried reading a bunch of news articles about his benching and none of them seem to give a straight answer as to why. Injuries, fight, said something bad, personal matter, what????
alfdogg Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 From what I read, Carlisle described it as "a situation that compromised the integrity of the team." I'm just waiting for the NY Post (or Times, whichever it was) to come out with the "OMFG ARTEST WANTS OUT" article like they did last year.
Brett Favre Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 So i've heard he's taking time off to make a rap album? Is this true?
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Holy crap! Anybody else watching Phoenix and Cleveland??? Lebron singlehandedly brings the Cavs back into it, with like 7 or 8 straight points.
Brett Favre Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 And Nash turns the ball over for the first time tonight. Phoenix up by 1, 14.1 seconds left, Cavs ball.
alfdogg Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 What a whining little bitch Eric Snow is. He just complained to the ref on an INTENTIONAL foul.
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 wow, I only tuned in with like 2 minutes left, but this has been an awesome 2 minutes
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 When did Igalsukouslasasotia become a 3pt threat?
alfdogg Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Cavs win, but I'm going on record right now and saying that the Suns will win the Pacific division. The Kings aren't looking too good early in the season, and are currently getting thrashed by the Sonics midway through the 2nd quarter. I know it's early in the season, but I really don't like their chances right now. Losing Vlade has hurt them a lot more than I thought it would. I should probably take a shower right now, but if I do I'll probably miss a fight. Just watch Brad Miller, you can almost see it coming.

I guess I watched the wrong game. Sad.
alfdogg Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Horrible call. He was clearly outside the circle and set.
alfdogg Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 #30 on the Sonics. Christie bowled him right over.
MrRant Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Evans. Wasn't sure what game you were watching.
MrRant Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 The refs have all of a sudden gotten a hair in the ass.
alfdogg Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I keep waiting for Legler to snap and put SAS in the ankle lock. Don't tell me you don't see the resemblance.
alfdogg Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Can't see it as well there, but when they're both expresionless, it's uncanny.
MrRant Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I'd like to see SAS punked out on TV by anyone.
