Artest dived over the crowd and chased that guy down, that was equally crazy. You're right, if one of my students spits on me, I can't beat the shit of him without getting fired. Artest should get less than Jackson though. Just make Artest's suspension 20 games and then through appeal knock it down to 8 or 10 games. That way he gets the standard fare for going after fans, but the league can still say that in the future unless there is strange circumstances like this you will get 20+ games.
