Mole Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 I didn't even know TNA was on last night. Besides, I was driving back home so I would have missed it anyway.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 I watched both last night......SD was WAY better.....
Black Lushus Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 yeah, TNA has yet to impress me...not sure how it's any different than the WWE anyway, same guys always on top...
Toshiaki Koala Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 I didn't watch either. The only wrestling-related thing I did Thursday night was using my Samoa Joe CAW to beat up Hardcore Holly in Wrestlemania 2000.
geniusMoment Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 I flipped around to see the difference between the shows, I enjoyed TNA more. The Pipers Pit segment got a chuckle out of me, and I enjoyed Styles/Abyss more than anything on Smackdown.
Kaertos Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 I've seen chunks of TNA here and there since they've been on the air, and I have to say that while I was impressed with some of their workers, the terrible announcers (alright, Tenay kicks twelve kinds of ass, but the other guys with him... ouch) and overall poor presentation has turned me off. The last couple of times I watched Impact, it was bad enough to make me take it off the "Record Series" list on my DVR. WWE has its bad moments, but overall I think it is miles better than TNA.
algrim Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 I agree that the quality of matches on Impact is slightly better than those in Smackdown. IMO, the TNA product is not as good as WWE's because the people don't know about the wrestlers in general. Word of mouth doesn't help. TNA needs more exposure for their stars. Another thing that doesn't help them is all the botched spots in some X-division matches I've seen.
