JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Just curious if anyone is going to pick this up when it's released in December. I know I'm kind of interested in it. Also, was R.D Reynold's Wrestlecrap book any good, or should I just stick to the website?
yankovic fan 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 I'm looking at getting the Death of WCW book as it looks very promising. As far as the Wrestlecrap book goes, I really enjoyed it. However it was essentially the website in book form. I had a lot of literary deja vu reading it. It was still enjoyable considering the stuff that was rehashed, I haven't really looked at in a while anyway. The pictures were the best part in my opinion. Guest Duncan Eternia Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Depending on the price, I might check out the WCW book. The Wrestlecrap book is decent. Check it out at the bookstore before you buy it.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 JoeDirt - I think your WCW thread is a better, and cheaper, option than the book.
Guest Astro Report post Posted November 17, 2004 The Insider info RD's given us so far is stuff i know from reading the Web (Ex. Lanny poffo was under a 6 figure contract for 5 years and never used, all to appease Macho Man) The wrestlecrap book was unspectacular....RD tends to ignore certain things to make people in charge look worse than they really are
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2004 I don't think you can look at a few pictures and say it's worth getting an $18.95 book over. I picked it up yesterday, I'll probably start it tomorrow.
