WWE RAW Live, House Show Results Nov. 20, 2004.

Recommended Posts

Alright Peoples!! I just got back from a KILLER house show in Kingston, ONT last night. It was the most fun I've ever had a wrestling show, and it was simply amazing. The attendance was between 4000-5000 people. It was sold out ( I think the arena holds around 3,500 + floor seats, maybe more) Anyway it was an incredible show. Here is a semi live report.

-- Christy comes out to the most amazing pop, for a diva. The crowd was in awe of Christy, and she was the special ring announcer, and did a decent job for the match.

Opening Bout

Tajiri vs Tyson Tomko.

-- Tajiri got a MASSIVE pop. While Tomko, surprisingly got MASSIVE heat. The crowd shit all over Tomko, and not in a bad way. Match was okay, nothing special. Tajiri spit the mist at the start of the match, to get the already hot crowd in. Tajiri picked up the win with a rollup. Tomko even had some impressive power moves.

Simon Dean hit the ring next to tell us we are the fattest people he has EVER seen. Which is pretty right, some guy in the attendance took up about 3 seats, no joke. He called out the fattest WWE wrestler, Rosey to take part in a match.

Simon Dean vs Rosey.

-- Simon Dean picks up the win in another okay match, after a low blow. Rosey had the match won, but Dean managed to get a low blow in after crawling out of the way of a Bonzi Drop.

Simon Dean did an amazing thing at the end of the match. Some overweight guy was lipping him in the crowd and Simon pretended to ignore him at first. Then he looked over and jumped backwards giving a "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU" look. It was simply amazing, and I laughed so hard. The guy he did it too was complaining/pissed for the next 10 or so minutes. Haha great job, Simon!

- Rosey managed to get a standing Ovation.

Jonathan Coachman came out next and shit on the crowd. Suddenly Rhyno's music hit and he ran down to the ring. He slides in and gets in Coach's face. Coach hits him with the mircophone and calls out a ref.

Rhyno vs Jonathan Coachman.

Rhyno kicked out at 2, and then hit a running clothesline and a gore. No longer than 30 seconds.

Molly Holly vs Victoria.

Victoria picked up the win in an IMPRESSIVE Diva Match. Match lasted about 10 minutes, and Molly showed some great counters.

**The finish was INCREDIBLE. Molly was uptop for the Molly Go Round and Victoria ran at her and Molly went for it. Victoria caught her and nailed the Widows Peak.

Christian comes out next, and we have our Intercontinental Championship Match. He calls Kingston "The Asscrack Of Canada". Benjamin has a new named, Whiny Little Bitch.

IC Title

Christian vs Benjamin

Amazing Match. Match of the Night. **** easy. Match lasted 15-18 minutes. Benjamin had some amazing counters, and Christian played heel amazing. I was one of the only people cheering for Christian, and at one point he looked right at me doing the Chest Pound and Point, and he did it back and pointed right at me. It was amazing. The ref was knocked out and Tomko came down, interfered but Benjamin kicked out, Exploder 1-2-3. Best part of the night.

--Christy came out and shot some T-Shirts and then we went to an intermission.

-- Tag Team Title Match

Eugene/Regal vs La Resistance

the crowd LOVED Eugene. He had the best entrance ever, he came out of the curtains and GOT TANGLED UP IN THEM! The Whole crowd just loved every minute of Eugene. Once the comedy spots stopped after about 5 minutes, the match got good for about 10 minutes until the ending. I missed what Regal did, get to Grenier down but he pinned him as Eugene was hitting a Stunner. Just awesome. Conway did a sell like the Rock, haha.

Edge comes out next and says some crap about Kingston and how his Autograph signing earlier might have been fun if it wasn't in Kingston. Still getting cheered though. Maven comes out to a pretty decent pop. Probably one of the lowest pops on the show, but it was still okay.

Edge vs Maven.

The match wasn't too great, but the finish was. Maven was on the top ropes waiting for a crossbody but Edge pulled the referee in front. Maven jumped down from the top ropes and while he was coming down Edge speared him, for the win. Just an awesome finish, hopefully it gets used on TV.

MAIN EVENT TIME!

Batista comes out, followed by H. The Crowd popped enmourous for H, until the match started. Jericho was out next, to a big cheer and Orton was out last to an amazing pop. Pop of the night. Triple H had a great opening promo. He used a line to a fan "Batista takes biggers craps than you" Not bad.

Orton/Jericho vs HHH/Batista

Match was awesome, after all the stalling at the start (which was just to get the crowd in to it) I started alot of clapping to get Jericho out of holds, and started a few Y2J chants although those were going on the whole match. Even when Jericho was on the outside, people were chanting y-2-j! Jericho was visibly happy, because he was easily the most over guy there. Orton countered the pedigree into an RKO for the win. Just awesome. probably another **** affair.

Overall, just an awesome show. I was on the floor seats, and didnt sit down the whole time. I went to the back of the barricade and stood, so I didnt block anyone behind me, although no one stayed behind me as they all did the same thing.

The wrestlers I touched/hand shaked with were; Christy, Eugene, Jericho, Orton, Benjamin, and Victoria. Jericho and Christy gave awesome hand shakes and smiled at me. Orton ignored everyone else's hand until he got to me and one of my friends, and he slapped out hands. It was awesome that we were the first.

I got some awesome pictures, as did two of my friends. Probably around 50 pictures altogether. I'll post them as soon as mine get developed, and put onto the computer. (I'll put all mine and my 2 friends good pictures on, to show you if you want?)

*Reply and tell me if you want to see them.

The best pictures I'm sure will be Christian, Randy Orton, La Resistance, Edge, and maybe a few others.

I seriously couldn't believe how much fun it was, just touching the wrestlers, and getting that special peep taunt from Christian pointed right at me, with eye contact, it was AWESOME. My friends enjoyed themselves too. Best WWE show I've ever been too, with two AMAZING MATCHES.

Best Pops/Heat

Pops

1. Jericho

2. Orton (While Orton got the better entrance pop, people were more into Jericho as a whole)

3. Edge (played the heel, but the fans just loved him)

4. Eugene (OMG did the fans love him... they just laughed and laughed and cheered for him and Regal)

5. Christy (both when she first came out, and when she came out again to shoot t-shirts, Crowd loved her)

** Every face EXCEPT Maven got outstanding pops. Tajiri's was huge, but thats because he was the first wrestler out I believe.

Heat

1. Triple H (A huge pop when he came out, quickly turned into the biggest heat).

2. Christian (What an amazing heel, the fans loved to hate this guy except me. At one point it was silent for a split second and I yelled, CAPTAIN CHARISMA BAYBEE!!, just awesome.)

3. Batista (Not beecause he was with Triple H either, the fans just HATED Batista)

4. Simon Dean (Fans hated this guy, and when he started calling Kingston fat, it was awesome.

5. Maven (maybe cuz he was facing Edge, and Edge signed autographs that day... but I doubt it because after the match he tried for the Standing Ovation and got a MAVEN SUCKS chant, loud and clear.)

-- Most of the other heels got big heat too. Tomko comes to mind as does Coach. A Small EC-Dub chant started up for Nova and Rhyno.

We went out and looked through the curtains following the show, and I got a smile from Dean Malenko and a wave from Arn Anderson. We went out to the parking lot and see La Resistance leave, before we took a few more pictures (up against a WWE Transport right under the WWE sign) As I said, if you want me too, I'll post the pictures. Thanks for reading.

----- Great experience and I'll definately be going to see RAW again.

It should be some sort of SMF rule that house show reports aren't written by overenthusiastic marks.

First of all, I'm not a mark. It was a live show, so I let myself go and have fun and not worry about Match Quality for a night. Maybe youre one of this stuck up people who can't be entertained unless its a ***+ match, but at a live show... I dont really care as much. Why? Becuase the experience is awesome.

I know I said it was awesome alot, but thats because I had an awesome time. Now you can take your head out of your ass and stop being so dumb... I just reported it to let people know I had a good time, and what the match results were. I mean you could at least show some respect that I took time to write that up for you guys.

-- The reason I may have been a "Mark" last night was becuase it was my first ever live show, which I had a floor seat and was able to touch the wrestlers, and get good pictures.

That finish in the women's match sounds amazing. Hopefully they do that on TV.

I can't believe heels got bigger face reactions than Maven. Well, I doubt after last Monday, he'll get a monster push anytime soon.

Still, thanks for taking the time to give us a report.

Why? Maven hasn't been over for a good year now, and it doesn't look like that's going to change anytime soon.

Why he won't get a push? He looked like shit on Monday. Buried, completely. He looked like an incompetent loser.

Ok, I'll do a quick re-write even though I was not there.

The arena was sold out which mean at least half the crowd got free tickets to get in.

Fast Forward:

HHH/Batista vs. Y2J/RO. Let met tell you, HHH and Randy Orton suck. I wish the main event was Benoit vs. Jericho in an iron man match. Half the crowd chanted boring and half of them left. Randy won with the RKO and because Jericho did not get the win, we set the arena on fire. We hope HHH burned to death.

There we go, the truth. I wrote a Raw report when they came to the Pond and I marked because it's a lot different seeing them in person than on TV. I was actually suprised at all the knowledgeable fans I met in line. I tired of the internet's pessimistic views. It's alright to dislike thinks, but overenthusiastic marks, come on.

Good report, I liked it. No wait, I'm on the net. I really hated it.

Yeah, you cut off the second part of the last sentence :P It says "The reason I may have been a "Mark" last night was becuase it was my first ever live show, which I had floor seats"

I guess I may have wored it wrong, but I meant it was the first ever show I've been too that I was sitting (standing) on the floor seats

Sorry if thats confusing lol.

No problem man, my fault I worded it wrong.

I've been to about 6 or 7 live shows. But never had floor seats, until now. The last house show report I wrote up, Smackdown in May.. wasn't as fun cuz I didnt have floor seats, so I was actually looking for match quality.

This time, I just let myself go and have a great time, even though a few matches werent great.

No, I meant:

I can't believe heels got bigger face reactions than Maven.

Why? Unless that was sarcasm I completely missed.

Ah. Well, I can believe it. It's just amazing that hated heels are getting more face reactions than a relatively pushed face.

I still don't get how so...I mean, for one...'Its Maven.' he's expected to look like shit anyways, but rather then that, one, he's in a PPV main event, and two, he's getting a shot at the World title the next night, that for some could leave the whole 'Woa...maybe he's not as shit as we thought'. (Yea, I know, but just go along)

And as for the actual match, I thought it was the opposite...Maven actually did pretty good during the match, and well...almost won pretty much if it wasn't for Snitsky. Some might say, because even with the help of Benoit and Jericho he lost, but that wasn't the whole story, when you factor in...that he had the match won in the last few seconds. (from a mark perspective) But Snitsky cheap shotted him for the lost. In any case, HHH was made to look weak, because he needed GENE SNITSKY a guy who debuted a month or two ago to keep his title. (And Evolution too)...and not only that, but it was against....Maven...

Especially in Canada where we cheer for who we want to. HHH is quite popular here for example.

Too bad they don't give away tickets to house shows. They only give them away for tapings because an empty arena makes the product look bad on television. Next time you make fun of someone for actually ENJOYING wrestling, maybe you should check your facts first.

I could be wrong...but I think most of that was sarcasm.

I just refuse to believe that there were two 4 star matches. Especially since that was his first live event and he didn't care about workrate. He "let himself go."

That's when I thought about the "over enthusiastic mark" line and laughed.

Hey, the guy enjoyed a house show, one that was his first live event. Cut him some slack. I mark out when I am at live shows too.

Ditto. I marked out at the horrid 1st night of 1988 Crockett Cup. I marked out for a WWF show with a Bulldogs v Demolition match.

The ONLY show I never marked out for had a mind-numbingly awful Gigante v Gang cage match ME.

Actually to me...Trips looked like the most powerful out of everyone coming out of the match. He kicked out of Jericho's finisher, Benoit's Swandive Headbutt, and a belt shot from Orton. Plus Snistky has been booked strong within his short time of being here...the man made Kane his bitch.

I was going to go to this show, but my plan for front row tickets fell through and I just never got around to going. Did go to see Edge at Wal-Mart earlier in the day, though, so that was kinda cool.

I would kill for Edge to do a book signing around here.

Looking at this houseshow, I really wish that the houseshow I went to a while back was half as good as this. We had a total of one good match (Edge/Orton).

Well if you could read, you'd notice it was not my first live event, so I dont know what report your reading. So unless you can actually read the facts, right there in front of you, then I suggest you don't post, attacking something that I never said.

As for House Shows, usually there are a few of ***-**** matches because the wrestlers have fun, and don't have pressure on them to perform a match that management will love. They go out there and have fun.

I remember going to SmackDown! 3 years ago. It was the show leading up to WrestleMania X7, It was the one where Triple H had Undertaker arrested and the Main-Event was Austin Vs Angle with The Rock comentating. This was my very first and sadly, only WWE live event I've been to. I had seats all the way at the top. but despite all that. I had a fuckin blast. best live show I've ever been to.
